Nice newly built hostel with a good location right near the city enter. Clean rooms with good space. Friendly staff who can book anything for you. The kitchen was quiet small but OK. The wifi worked great in common areas.

Let me start off by saying this is not a bad hostel to stay in. However a few things to note, 1.The entire building is made out of concrete, it looks cool, but none of the doors have dampers, and the doors are fairly heavy so every time someone leaves a door sounds like it is being slammed, and people come in and out all the time 2. there are only 4 showers for an entire floor of people and out of the 4 only one shower is still working to pour water from above, the rest have broken hoses

Hlemmur Square has a great convenient location for busses and shops there's a gorgeous view from my room. Kitchen has cookware, fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher :)

The bar I think is the best experience while staying in the hostel ( thanks to the staff) + a lot of privacy while in the shower .But average seems like nobody even bother to clean the room I was in. Sticky tables and filthy rug come with the price . And who the hell make a bed so high that you hit your forehead in the morning because you can't sit properly cause of the ceiling so close to you head. ??? There was a fire alarm on one occasion an I must say my forehead is till in pain .

Hlemmur square is spacious, clean and very comfortable. I was in a 12 bed dorm and it was elegantly laid out with lots of room and light. Each floor had a kitchen and space to hang out (though they were doing renovations so not everything was open yet). The kitchen was serviceable, if a bit small. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights, it was meant tot be 2 but a flight cancellation meant I had to stay an extra one they managed to arrange it so that I didn't have to move rooms. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast (extra) is plentiful and tasty. The only issue I had is that the dorm room doors are set to slam closed and this not only makes a loud noise but shakes the top bunks (of which I had one). So sleep can be disrupted even late at night as people return form Aurora hunting.

The staff were all extremely helpful. Received great recommendations on excursions, places to see, places to go eat and drink 24/7! Very cozy and friendly.

Really nice hostel in a great location right next to the bus station. The bar is really nice, good happy hour, and a wide spread for breakfast option. Only downfall to this hostel is the super hard pillows.

Nice and cosy hostel. Located in a rather accessible location, you can walk to the city center easily and there's a supermarket just across the street. Would've been better if there was a common area for travellers to meet.

Facilities were all very clean and well-kept. Breakfast was a bit pricey (1400 ikr) soy friend and I opted to buy food from the grocery across the street instead. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Great, helpful staff. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Right next to the main street that takes you to downtown, and grocery store right across from the street.

Very reasonably priced for Scandinavia. Nice bar area with friendly bar staff. The only thing that let the hostel down were the reception staff. They were unhelpful in any situation and it seemed they were put out when asked a question. I wanted advice on tours and was instead referred to look at leaflets. When it came to making a booking for a tour she kept cutting me off to answer the phone. Is it any surprise that when I arrived at the terminal no booking had been made for my tour!
