Clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Very overpriced but that's just Iceland for you! Would Reccomend to bring your own food to snack on since everything is so expensive!

Great stay with helpful, friendly staff, right in the centre of Reykjavik - couldn't get much closer. Security was fine. Lockers are included but you need to take padlock, if you want it to be secure. Swipe cards for dorm rooms - my door was broken and didn't close properly unless pulled to really hard, It was fixed after a day though so they got to it fast. Enough toilets but could do with another few showers, although I didn't have to queue at the times I showered. Linen and rooms really clean

Great location and staff. The bar is nice but the bathrooms should have been cleaned more often.

Lovely welcoming staff who kindly moved my room on arrival (there was 8 guys in one room and only me as a female) which I thought was considerate on both parties. The toilets were often not sparkling clean, but that's to be expected as they are in use a lot. Lovely lounge area downstairs with a chess board!

The staff was not friendly and often unhelpful. The facilities were not clean.

Great location at the end of the main street, Laugavegur. Helpful staff 24/7. Big lockers in the rooms - enough to fit your entire bag. Clean and quiet with blackout curtains for the midnight sun. Showers are curtained off though, no locking door.

The good - close to main areas like shops, bars, restaurants, bus stop. Good downstairs area. Clean and roomy bunk rooms. The bad - kitchen cleanliness was not good. Filthy sponges and fridges. The staff (except for the Scotish girl and big beard guy who were super friendly) needed lessons in service. Don't ignore customers at the front desk, even if you are busy. A simple smile and 'I'll be with you in just a moment' goes a long way.

Definitely one of the better and cheaper hostels in Iceland. Linen is included which saves and the vibe is good. People hang out in the common area around the bar and it's easy to chat with someone there. Only complaint is other people's lack of regard for letting the door slam. Would recommend the staff to remind people to be polite and it let the door slam in the early hours in the morning.
