There is no outdoor pool here which makes the hostelworld as misleading. The bathroom leaked and smelled of damp. The room was clean but small. Breakfast was awesome but you need to get up early go get the good stuff.

We has a great stay here. It was a nice touch being picked up from where the bus dropped us off. Our room was nice and bright with a big comfy bed. Everything was clean and the buffet style breakfast made a nice change. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel in old quarter short walk from river and nearby attractions. Has a nice breakfast included and a lovely pool (although it's in the middle of the resteraunt so we were abit shy to use it). Not close to the beach if that's what you are after.

Pros: 1) Great staff. 2) The swimming pool and the space around. 3) The breakfast. 4) The price 5) The staff, staff & staff. Cons: 1) Noisy at all levels 2) The crowd here is predominantly young and arrogant backpackers. Take it as a pro or con as you like.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hoa Binh. The staff was very friendly and LOVED my 2 year old son. The room was spacious and clean, laundry was cheap and the breakfast was AMAZING with it's buffet, juice choices and some really great omelets. They were also in a great location. We could walk everywhere within town very easily and could rent bikes out front for a nice ride to the beach. It was a nice change from many of the other hostels we've stayed at through out our 4 months travels through SEA.

Good location, short walk from the old town and the walk to bus station (bus to Da Nang) was doable. Pool looked nice but we didn't bring our swim wear as we booked a short stay and left our stuff in Da Nang, bummer! Breakfast was nice, just don't show up near the end of the breakfast hours as you'll miss out on the real good stuff.

Staff is not enough helpful and friendly. About security, the hotel has 2 entrances and nobody asks where the people go to. The hotel is very simple and no expensive for the service given. Regarding the cleanliness, the sheets had some stains and the bathroom is the worst. In the bath there were a lot of worms. We remove these with the shower but again the worms appeared. We advise about that at the reception but they didn´t do nothing. Location is good. Close to the river and tailors shops.

Keep all valuables with you as another guest accidentally came to our room by mistake and his key was able to open our door even though we had looked the door from the inside. Not very secure.

Hotel is in a great location for ancient town, everything we required was within a 15 min walk max (most stuff closer). The staff were smilier than expected (after reading other reviews!) and friendly. Our room on the top floor at the back was small with a low ceiling, but had all the advertised facilities (plus bath!). Wifi was fine. Don't miss the buffet breakfast here, there is a lot of choice, and it will be hard to find a better one included in the room price. Would happily stay here again.

This is a lovely little hotel with friendly staff that is located close to the main sights of Hoi An. The room was clean and comfortable. I would defiantly stay here again.

Good location, not far from the main river. Breakfast was decent, chef waiting to make egg based items (omlette etc). As other comments, pool is strange right beside the tables but in the afternoon could be nice for a dip.

The value for the money was good. The rooms were clean, but it was a little bit stinky in the room. The staff was friendly, but they tried to sell you expensive tours (like everywhere in vietnam). The breakfast was awesome! All you can eat. It's well located close to the ancient town. The local busstation is just a 15 min walk away.

Helpful Staff and a really good breakfast. The room was nothing special, pretty dark. Water pressure on the showers is really low.

In general I liked the hotel, the location is great, very close to the centre (I rented a bike just next to the hotel) and just 2 minutes walking from Singh tours. Room was clean, nice staff and very good breakfast. One negative point: there was no private safebox available. Although there were lockers near the reception, when asked these were for 'staff only'. You could leave your valuables at reception, however it is annoying to go there all the time. So I took everything with me all the time.

The place is nice but I've been a little bit disappointed about the staff attitude concerning informations. We would like to go to da nangh, which is quite near Hoi An, and it seems logic that there are public transports between theses two places. But hostel says no, that we need to get a taxi or private bus extremely expensives. we tried several times and at the end we went directly at the bus station where y can find buses every 20 minutes for 2 dollars. Not so professional.

Location is great especially if you need to be close by for fittings. Not very social. Staff did not give much information upon arrival, lost my laundry, booked a taxi for Danang - made us wait an hour though said '10mins don't worry'. Only 1 staff member was helpful. Breakfast excellent. This place is good for budge if you want a private room & not as social as Sunflower.

Amazing location a two minute walk from the old town. Can rent bikes across the street, we got 3 for 40,000d. The complimentary breakfast is the best one we've had in Vietnam! Loads of salads, fruits, hot dishes and an omlette bar. Wake up early before it runs out. One of my companions left her passport in hue, and the front desk staff were SO helpful in tracking it down and getting it on a bus to Hoi An. Great value for money, the bed sheets were a little stained, but our only complaint.
