arrived at 7.00am, and was told not able to check in until 1pm. After a 10hr Train journey. Storage room for our bags was left open and locked. Once checked in I noticed the door to the balcony would not lock, making the room unsecure.4am a the toilet pipe burst and we had to turn the water off. It was reported in the morning as we left for our day tour, when we returned it had not been touched. Worst thing was they leave the keys on top of the reception so anyone could take. Poor Hotel.

Don't be fooled: this is a BASIC hotel. Don't bother choosing "a room w/ view" bc you will get a 2 floor room w/ a view of the street. There are no screens on the windows, & the rooms crawl w/ insects. Water pressure is good, hot water lasts for 5 min. Staff speak minimal English, & try to be helpful but give inaccurate info. The night train arrives 5am & staff knock on your door 7am asking you to check out bc they booked your room for someone else. Not terrible place, but better is around.

I really liked this place. It's just far enough from the main drag to provide a relatively quiet night's sleep. The staff was very, very helpful. They are currently renovating so things are a little in disarray at the moment (areas closed off, etc.). Very good value for the money, though.

This is a very beautiful and charming looking hotel. They offer many amenities, however, they are not very nice, not quite as advertised, or nonexistent. The hotel is very cold and there is no heat what so ever. The TVs do not pick up any channels that are watchable. The wifi works some of the time. The staff is often absent from the front dest, with all of the keys lying on the counter. When I asked for my passport back the night before we left they couldn't even find it, but eventually did.

Good size rooms, excellent buffet breakfast and staff very helpful with tour advice and arrangements. Television is a waste of time and space if you don't have any reception or channels.

They have to be honest for the price. If you book before you arrive at the hostel (for exemple through hostelworld), a deluxe room at 25 dollars is without heater and they try to charge you 5 dollars in more for the heater. If you don't book online, they do a visit for you, and this time you can have a deluxe room for 25 dollars with heater included or 20 dollars if you don't want the heater.
