My room was lovely and clean. I booked a dorm room and got a twin room to myself. The hotel was nice and quiet but still close to the town. The beds were very comfortable.

No complaints. Had a lovely view of the mountain from our balcony, just a little walk from town but felt very "Sapa-ish". Booked a great tour of a local village from there. ORGANISE THE TRANSFER FROM THE HOTEL OR YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AT LAO CAI. Good value for money..

Nice hotel in a beautiful but run-down old colonial building with beautyful views over the Sa Pa valley if you book a Superior or Deluxe room. Nice breakfast buffet. Atmosphere like a socialist holiday home. Helpful staff including a very good but also expensive tour office. Rooms are big and light with big windows and great balcony with a view over the valley directly to Fansipan mountain (in Superior and Deluxe rooms!).

Other than the fact that the hot water ran out rather fast, this hostel far surpassed our expectations. We had just completed a three week long trip across SE Asia and this was the best place to stay by far.
