The only thing lacking is that there is no off road parking at this hostel.

Very Good value for money, close to main parts of town. Easy walking distance to CBD, Battery Pt, Salamanca, etc. Excellent lounge and good "feel". Didn't use kitchen but excellent facilities. Room was small, but good value and how much time do you spend in room anyway? Plus great lounge to sit in if you need to. Owner and staff were helpful and very friendly.

Room with private ensuite extremely small. Claustrophobic. Bathroom too tiny and becomes messy ater shower. Noise from backyard and from kitchen.

We had a private room which was atually outside, room was damp and stank of laundry detergent cos of the closeness of the laundry room. Room was very small, we only stayed one night but I wouldn\'t have wanted to spend longer with such limited space. Were nice people and atomosphere in the hostel. Kitchen a good size. Nothing terrible about the hostel but nothing to write home about either.

The hostel room and facilities is good and clean, internet access is fast. It would be much better if breakfast is included.

The hostel was good enough for the price paid (compared to other options in Hobart). While it wasn't incredibly lively and the rooms were small, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and it felt secure. The only negatives are it's a short walk to the main part of town, and we were not told how to get in/out after the front door locked at 10 pm. We enjoyed our stay, and would consider going back if we find ourselves in Hobart again.

A very clean hostel professionally run by the friendly, helpful owners. The big orderly kitchen and new computers are special pluses. Definitely recommended.

I stayed in a single room and think it was okay. It is small but all right. Unfortunately, I got bitten by bedbugs both nights I stayed in Room No. 3. The second night I actually got to kill the bug and looked for what it possibly was on internet (with their free Wi Fi - though it doesn't work very well in my room) - and confirm that it is a bedbug :-(

Beware the Hostel closes early, so be sure to ring and arrange a late check-in if you intend to check in late. The staff member who was supposed to be on duty, was an arrogant tosser who tried to tell me I hadn't booked and it was the first time I had to show my hostelworld.com booking to any hostel staff

Average hostel, excellent location. Clean bed linen. Kitchen was pretty messy, didn't cook there. Nowhere near enough plugs in the dorms (one socket for 8 beds). They charge for towels and lockers. Can be noisy at night when people stay up drinking in the common room. Lots of tourist info, DVD player, coffee machines (paid).

Nice hostel to have a relaxing time in. Don't go here expecting any kind of party any evening. It's a good place to get some sleep and organise your trips through tassy (using the free inet!).

A great place to rest your head at night, but also a nice place to meet new friends. If I find myself in Hobart again I will be staying here.
