Really nice hostel. Common room is great and feels like home. Very cheap beers in the fridge and wifi worked great. Beds are one of the most comfortable I've slept on since travelling. Tram stops right out the front that goes directly to the main bus/train station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Kitchen fully equipped and big enough.

A excellent hostel just outside the center of Zagreb. We enjoyed our stay in the 6 person bedroom. The place was clean, inviting, and the facilities were great. Staff was excellent as was the WiFi. I will surely stay at this hostel again the next time I'm through Croatia. A top notch experience.

My stay at the Hobo Bear Hostel was perfect. Exactly what you want when you go to the a hostel, friendly staff and atmosphere, good location, and the common room was perfect to meet other travelers. Will definitly go back to this hostel

good hostel, recommended. There is no POS for payment with card in the hostel, so you should have cash with your self.

The location and facilities are great, but what really sells this place is the staff. Kristina, Melca, and Gigi were wonderful. They really did everything they could to help me find things, deal with my luggage, and even showed took me out one night. I am a now a big lover of Zagreb, but I have them to thank for it! I will definitely stay here again.

The best thing about Hobo Bear was by far, the staff! Everyone who worked there was approachable, easy going, and took the time to answer any questions. One staff member in particular, ( ahem, Kristina ), went so far as to write out my itinerary ( including bus / train travel times and numbers ) throughout Croatia and the islands! The location is in the city center of Zagreb, right where all the bars and restaurants are. It was an easy 15 minute walk from the main train station.

Lovely staff and awesome place. One drawback is the reception isn't 24 hours.

Excellent location on the center of Zagreb, near everything (Main bus station, Main train station, shops, bars, ...). The staff was very helpful. The facilities were good and clean. I was there only for a couple of nights, but it was very enjoyable.

Had a great stay at Hobo bear hostel and Zagreb in general. The hostel had a nice atmosphere where many of the guests would gather in the common room as beer and drinks were available. Staff were friendly and would often hang out with the guests as well. Would definitely come back when in Zageeb again.

The hostel was perfect!! Starting with the rooms small but you only sleep in your room. Only thing what the need to have is a closet for your clothing. Free WiFi, 2 PC, nice hot water for shower, service excelent like ivena and the other girl which I forgot her name ( i am not good in remembering names!!!), location like 10 minutes walk to the centre. Conclusion: worth of your money for sure!!!

This was a really good hostel in a great location. It is easy to reach, central to everything in Zagreb, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well stocked, and the showers are hot.

Reception staff was perfect. Her name is Ivana. She was very friendly, helpful and kind. So I never got bored when I stay there. She gave me some good information and searched timetable of the bus and the train. It was so comfortable to stay in Zagreb. I really want to come back to this hostel when she'll be there.
