maybe not enough bathrooms to share amongst everyone at busy times, but it is a minor detail consider the very convenient, very central location.

The only thing that was missing were mirrors in the upper floor dorms. Apart from that the time we spent in the hostel was great - cool and relaxed atmosphere.

I never thought any hostel could be rated 100% on hostel world but here am I giving Hobo Bear 100%. We rented bikes at the hostel which was great, break fast was nice and went until 11 am, they gave us a very helpful city step by step guide, beds and bathrooms were good, everything was always clean. ps: I only have one tip for the owners: it would be nice having staff stay at hostel from midnight to 8 a.m. on the booked out nights and make sure people some people (ex: argentinians) behave.

As we had requested a private double room, we stayed in an extra building next to the hostel. We found it was somewhat overpriced, but still a good place. Photos are more impressive on the Internet than the hostel actually looks like, though. In general it was nice stay - the location is really great just some 5 minutes from the main square.

If you're looking for a cozy hostel, go to this one. It's not a big hostel, so everybody just hangs out at the lounge, and may or may not go out later. As far as I know, its the best one in Zagreb.

Nice hostel in a good location. Rooms were a little tight, and the pillow provided about the same comfort as a piece of paper, but it was still a fine stay.

This is a really great hostel! One of the best I've stayed in. I just wish it had 24-hour reception so the common room could stay open past 12. It's very frustrating because there's nowhere else to go after that except to bed or to the kitchen, which you can only do if you're going to be completely silent. Other than that though, it's perfect.

This Hostel was one of my favourites on my 6month back packing trip. It was a cool atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. the little kitchen was perfect upstairs and the showers and washrooms were good. I loved the staff very friendly and chilled out with a lot of information to give you if you just ask. Thanks Gigi Christina and Marco!

This is a great base from which to explore the city of Zagreb. Very friendly staff who are happy to help at any moment with suggestion on what to see, where to eat, and day trips to interesting locales. For those who wish to cook meals during their stay, the hostel is equipped with a very modern, clean, and spacious kitchen. The decor of the hostel is welcoming and modern, and the location is unbeatable!

The Hobo Bear is a wonderful 'appartment-style' hostel in which you feel at home immediately. The staff's very friendly and helpful and always up for a nice talk. The rooms are big and very beautiful with high ceilings and lots of light. The lockers are secure and spacious and the bed sheets clean and comfy. A really really great hostel I will definitely stay at again should I ever return to Zagreb.

When I arrived at the hostel I waited out side for 10 minutes ringing the bell to get in. The receptionist was not at the desk . The check in was smooth and the rooms were basic yet clean. I came to the lobby area where they had beers for sale . I got mine for free due to waiting outside. I made friends with some people in the lobby and went out for dinner and drinks with them. The hostel is a short walk to the city center . If you're solo the design of the hostel makes it easy to meet people
