This Hostel was one of my favourites on my 6month back packing trip. It was a cool atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. the little kitchen was perfect upstairs and the showers and washrooms were good. I loved the staff very friendly and chilled out with a lot of information to give you if you just ask. Thanks Gigi Christina and Marco!

This is a great base from which to explore the city of Zagreb. Very friendly staff who are happy to help at any moment with suggestion on what to see, where to eat, and day trips to interesting locales. For those who wish to cook meals during their stay, the hostel is equipped with a very modern, clean, and spacious kitchen. The decor of the hostel is welcoming and modern, and the location is unbeatable!

The Hobo Bear is a wonderful 'appartment-style' hostel in which you feel at home immediately. The staff's very friendly and helpful and always up for a nice talk. The rooms are big and very beautiful with high ceilings and lots of light. The lockers are secure and spacious and the bed sheets clean and comfy. A really really great hostel I will definitely stay at again should I ever return to Zagreb.

When I arrived at the hostel I waited out side for 10 minutes ringing the bell to get in. The receptionist was not at the desk . The check in was smooth and the rooms were basic yet clean. I came to the lobby area where they had beers for sale . I got mine for free due to waiting outside. I made friends with some people in the lobby and went out for dinner and drinks with them. The hostel is a short walk to the city center . If you're solo the design of the hostel makes it easy to meet people

The vibe at the hostel was ok , there were lots of people between 18-22 . The common area is chill and gives you an opportunity to meet fellow travelers . The rooms are basic , beds and lockers . The staff are friendly and helpful. It's not a party hostel. If you're looking for a good night sleep stat there . If its a party go explore the city because you won't find it there.

The staff was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and cozy. Great for meeting fellow travelers and right in the heart of Zagreb. Everything worth seeing is within 5 minutes of the hostel. Thank you Marco and Kristina for a terrific stay.

Hobo Bear is spectacular. Out of the dozens of hostels in which I have stayed during my travels, Hobo Bear is definitely one of the best. For a very reasonable price, you get a hostel with a very cool common room (which includes a happy hour from 9-10), great location (about 5 minutes from Old Town Square) and extremely helpful staff. I am not sure if I'll ever be in Zagreb again, but if I am, Hobo Bear will be my place to stay.

the hobo bear hostel is my favourite hostel I've been to! the building is really nice inside, it a real rustic feel which mixes with a cosy layout to create such a warm social lounge, which is untimely the soul of the hostel, its where we we spent most of our time whilst in the hostel, the staff are all really nice, really up for having a laugh with the guest and getting involved, i think they where all so much fun, defiantly want to go here again, awesome!

Very friendly and helpful staff, all were speaking english very well!! very nice and clean hostel in the centre of beautiful Zagreb. I really recommend this hostel! The only thing that wasn't t good, was that pillows were too flat and I didn't like the linen. There were just one plain sheet and blanket. Happy Hour bilo nešto! Neču zaboraviti KAKO sam dobila besplatnu bucu piva! ;)

Hobo Bear has a cozy environment with helpful staff who speak fluent English. I was traveling alone and asked lots of questions - the staff gave me very good advice on where to go and what to see. Location is convenient, with all major sites within walking distance. It's in a safe area with lots of bars and restaurants around. Bathrooms are clean, beds and rooms are small but neat, and the WiFi is good. If you don't feel like going out, just hang out in the common area and have a beer.

Really nice and helpfull staff, but the walls are very thin, so you hear every movement of the neighbour room and also chatter from the kitchen :) If you are a nightowl, it is actually not a big problem.
