Very nice hostel near the city center! Cool and helpful stuff, very clean, 24 hours entrance of course. Can absolutely recommend it!
I was a little underwhelmed at first by the room as it was quite warm and the pillows weren't great but it was comfortable enough, had a huge and secure locker and extras like a lamp and hanging bag for personal items on each bed. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and very well supplied. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. It's not a party hostel where you can meet lots of people but the happy hour is good and if you have friendly people in your room you should be fine!
Everything good , I would definitely recomend it if you want peace... its a small hostel and its quite. if you are keen on parties and nightlife here is not the place.
Stayed in the private room in location across the street from the main hostel. Good kitchen facilities, well maintained, friendly and knowledgable reception. Good location - close to central square and easily accessible by tram from the train station.
This hostel had a fabulous vibe - I very much enjoyed my stay here. There's a common room, which serves beer, and the hostel has a strong (and free!) wifi connection.
Loved the hostel. Fantastic common room. Wish it stayed open a bit longer than midnight though. Staff was helpful, polite and very friendly. Mircha and Ida are not only beautiful but fun gave us warm up shots before we went out for the night. I am staying with them again for sure. Love u guys. Mark from florida.
A very long walk from the train station, and when we arrived we were told we couldn't pay in euros, despite the website specifically asking for euros. It was said as if it was our fault for not knowing this. Our rooms were away from the main hostel, and so lacking in atmosphere, and the shower was not clean.
The friendliest staff ever! Always smiling, happy to give handy hints on how to explore Zagreb on a budget. The common area felt like a hub and it felt like one big family!
Great hostel! Really easy to meet people in the common area which has computuers and a TV and we got free shots during happy hour :) Well eqipped kitchen with everything you could need for cooking. Large lockers. Could do with a few more bathrooms but they were always clean
All the staff were extremely helpful and they had answers for all enquiries. Great time there!!! Recommended!
Stayed in one of the apartments and was amazing. All the facilities and utensils you might need. Very comfortable stay and staff were lovely.
excellent hostel, maybe with AC in the rooms it could be better, but excellent hostel
Fantastic staff, cool vibe but they really need to address the facilities: the showers don't drain and the loos are below standard. Very friendly staff
A bit hard to find with the Hostelworld directions. A nice, quiet hostel. Not a party hostel, but I am not sure those even exist in Zagreb. I would stay here again
Awesome hostel run by lovely locals. Make sure you go to the fish restaurant they recommend, best meal in Croatia. The beds are awful though, plastic sheets and pillow cases make you sweaty. Beds are flimsy, any move from the person above is like an earthquake.
Hobo Bear is a very nice Hostel with friendly and helpful people in the very middle of Zagreb. Our room and bathroom were clean and if we ask for a good sightseeing tour or a tasty restaurant, they helped us a lot to find nice places. In the evening there are a lot of bars where you can go out for a drink. We were so happy to stay at Hobo Bear and will come back. Thanks for the nice stay!!
Good location, great staff, safe and fun to stay at!
