Absolutey brillant! Thanks for everything. The staff is lovely, your place is simply ideal. Marvelous beach, very nice and comfy bar; kind tenants during my stay, lovely food. I just can see you're doing your best to keep a nice and clean place, and cheap prices too. I have just one regret: I had to leave you... :(

We loved the Hoey Moey - so close to the beach, cheap meals at the club right near the hotel, close to town but far enough away to relax. LOVED IT and will be coming back :)

The Hoey Moey rather reminded me of a Drive-in-Motel than a Backpackers, so, there was hardly any backpackers' atmosphere. Nevertheless, there was all you needed as a traveller: guided tours, internet, clean showers, clean beds, clean kitchen, bikes for hire. The staff tried hard to make up for the renovation's works that were going on during my stay. The reception used to close very early, though. In these cases you had to address to the bar's staff. The food was VERY good value for money!

Room was good, everyday cheap meals at the restaurant a HUGE plus, and direct access to the beach was awesome. Enjoyed my stay here.

One of our favourite hostels so far! Always got things to do, cheap food everyday, close to a beach and the room has all you need. The staff are all really friendly and willing to help. Recommended for anyone who wants a good laugh.

Brilliant hostel in a brilliant location. The staff are incredibly friendly and always strive to help you out. The adjoining pub has a brilliant atmosphere, cheap drinks and live music every night along with other events. The bistro does some lovely $7.50 feeds every day and about 10 yards away over the sand dunes is one of the nicest beaches we've seen since we've been in Australia - great views, quiet and great surf. Make sure you get up early to check out the dolphins coming into the bay!

Shuttle that took us from the bus stop to the hostel was handy, the driver also stopped at a lookout site and pointed out some places of interest. Great value for money with the evening meals which helps when you're travelling. Right next to the beach but about a 20-30min walk from the main bit of the place. Would stop here again though and recommend to others.

Great location and staff.Don\'t expect alot of sleep before 2am when the lads start drinking on the verandahs, right underneath the dorm windows.

Really nice Motel/Hostel/Bar close to the Beach of Coffs Harbour. The room was nice and tidy. Only thing was that we had no car park infront of our Motel room. The Bar is a nice place, with daily Happy Hour and really cheap meal deals. I would come back! Nice German speaking staff as well.

We stayed in a double room and it was spotless. It had its own toilet, fridge, flat screen with loads of channels. Definitely worth spending a few extra dollars for. Only thing bad about this place was the kitchen, its a disgrace. Its filthy and its has nothing in it and I got the feeling this was deliberate so that you would buy food in their pub which was only average.

nice place, very clean. we had a private double room with an ensuite, flat screen tv and a fridge which was only $30 each a night. the bar has great food deals every night which you need because the kitchen is unusable and I get the feeling that its deliberate so that you'll buy your food there. other than that I can't complain, it has direct access to the beach and your own entrance into the room. i'd stay there again.

It's rather a motel than a hostel because the rooms are like motel rooms, so its hard to get to know people because there is hardly any common area. The kitchen was disgusting, I haven't cooked there once! I didn't like the location, you couldn't go somewhere except to the beach.
