The location is super, right at the beach! The only thing with Coffs Harbour is that it is so spread-out, Moey-Hoey is at the other side of town, so if you want shops nearby, go somewhere else!

Two great things: 1. hostel is literally ON the beach and 2. the bar has live music so there's always some form of entertainment. Other than that the atmosphere is pretty dead since everyone staying in the hostel seems to be there for work so there is very little going on if you're not working as well. Kitchen is one of the worst i've seen (one sink, no oven and very poorly equipped!) and the rooms are very small. staff were polite to me. Convenient if you're working, otherwise avoid.
