I came in the off-season and while there weren't very many tourists at all on this southern beach, I felt that made the experience much better. The hostel is family-run, and everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. I booked for one night originally; ended up staying nearly a week. The beach is a short walk south, there are restaurants and bakeries and supermarkets right down the road, and the pool/bar area is great. Definitely, definitely recommended for Perissa. Don't miss this area!
