A very nice place to stay. You feel safe and comfortable at Holidays Jones. You would have stayed more than two days if there were rooms available. I have particularly appreciated the decoration. Nice breakfast by the way. I recommend this place for all travelers who want to rest in a peaceful place.

We stayed there for 3 days and loved it. If I go back to Chicago, I'll stay there for sure!!!!

Wi-Fi is not good, used to approach hostel staff but she mentioned due to large no. of customers, the Wi-Fi is weak. :( Hopefully they can improve on this when a lot of the customers are foreigners which do not have any phone data for accessing. Thank you.

Breakfast was awesome, rooms are small but clean, many available bathrooms on each floor

Good hostel but very noisy, you can hear what's happening in other rooms pretty clearly.

Great location! Very close to the Blue train and easy to get to downtown and the airport. The neighborhood is so cool with lots of places to eat, bars, and shops. The staff is very helpful and will give you great advice.

Holiday Jones does not promote itself as a Hostel consequently there is no information on local activities and no notice board. The only down side was that being an old timber floor construction we were woken up everytime some one above came home late and stomped on the floor.

Good Value fo Money, fair price - you get what you pay for. The hostel is nicely decorated, although nothing extravagant. It is very close to the metro line, so you can reach the Downtown in no time. And the trains run frequently during the day and night, so it's almost like you have stayed in the city center. If you are looking for a reasonable priced accomodation, without any luxury, I would definitely recommed Holiday Jones.

Great location and cleanest hostel bathrooms I've ever seen! Our bedroom door wouldn't lock, though, and the walls were a bit thin. Good experience overall.

It was very clean and surprisingly hip. The breakfast was rather lacking, (could have included some fruit!), and the wifi was pretty unstable, but it was in a nice location, had a very nice room, and was close to transportation.

Recently spent a long weekend in Chicago for the Bulls Heat game. Great location with easy access to O'Hare & Downtown Chicago via the Blue Line, and just a short Bus/Cab ride away from United Center. Spoilt for choice when it comes to Bars/Restaurants on nearby Division & Milwaukee Ave, and the hostel provided flyer with recommendations didn't disappoint. Antique Taco was a favourite. Room amenities were basic but clean & in good condition. As to be expected. Recommended!

Works are still in progress, but you won't really feel that. Everything is clean and nice, though it seemed just two bathrooms for one floor might not be enough during high season. The staff is nice and give a lot of useful advice on where to go and how to get to around Chicago. 5 min from subway stations, shops around, handy line - direct from both airport and greyhound terminal, close to the centre. Excellent for the price.

The woman on the front desk was very good for local knowledge. Car parking in the area is difficult. Directions to the hostel would be improved by adding driving instructions for the Interstate and giving the exit number to look for. (I drove past the exit and had to turn around when I realised I was leaving the city.)
