It's a great place to stay if you go by car, as it's not needed to drive too much in the crazy Italian traffic. It is also near the center. The staff is very friendly and they clean the rooms every day. The only thing I didn't like was that in our room there was not enough hot water for 2 persons to take a shower. Everything else was great.

The shuttle bus from the airport leaves you at the piazza where this hostel is located. It is close to the places to be seen. I didn't like to cross the courtyard to enter the hostel. It was dark and silent that makes you nervous. The hostel owner is friendly. The breakfast was very poor like most of the hostels. Clean but the towels were a little bit smelly. Carry something to avoid the mosquitoes. A strange thing to know; have to pay city tax of 50 Cents for each night you stay in Catania.

Great location in the centre of the city, lovely central courtyard, easy to walk everywhere! Quirky and interesting rooms including the living room, very friendly & helpful host Hans. Would definately stay there again next time we're in Catania.

A very nice hostel in the centre of Catania. Each room is designed in a different and very lovely way. The owner of the hostel was very kind and helpful. The only negative thing is that there is no kitchen where you could prepare your breakfast.
