I stayed in a private room, and I thought the room had everything your typical hotel room has (and more): a microwave, a fridge, a TV, room service, etc. I also liked that you could rent things for free from the front desk (beach chairs, volleyballs, bikes, etc.). The hotel is also really close to the beach. If you are looking to meet new friends, though, this is something you need to work on on your own because, staying in a private room, you won't run into many people.

30 sec walk to the beach, which is brilliant. staff careless, which sucks!

FANTASTIC location, great place to hang out, lots of long term guests in the hotel (only 2 rooms for the hostel), lots of free amenities (beach chairs/umbrellas)

The staff was nice and helpful, but the rooms were full of people and not very clean. The value for money was good, I would go back for a college break, but definitely not for holidays with a family.

I only stayed here one night, I got in late and left early in the morning. It is a really nice place but because it is a hostel/hotel it doesn't have the same feel as a regular hostel. The guy on the front desk, i think his name was bruno, was really nice and helpful with everything. It is a little more expensive than some hostels, my stay cost me 30 something for one night, and i had just stayed at Jazz on Southbeach in Miami before that for $12 a night

Great location, rooms a little too crowded but decent overall. Nothing spectacular, not the most social of scenes but very decent place all in all - and certainly the location is ideal for beach-going! Just be informed that the parking costs EXTRA and is not included like I was under the impression it was. It\'s $10 extra and not a bad deal but a surprise because they don\'t tell you upfront that the parking is an extra cost. That was kind of a balloon-popper. They\'d do better to let u know first!

The free rental of stuff was exellent. Since the residents was of all ages there wasn't really a defined atmosphere. Looked like most people kept to them self.

A great place to stay. I will definitely return again. I did find the dorm a little cramped and only 1 bathroom for 12 people was inconvenient at times. Parking can be a little tight if there are more cars than parking spaces.

The staff was great...location is just steps to the beach...I met some wonderful travelers from all over the world and had a great time. I extended my stay for another 4 days with no problems and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely return!

At last, a decent hostel in fort Lauderdale, I hated FL because of the bad hostels until I found this one, now I totally love the place. Well done guys, you really have a cool place and do a fantastic job there.
