The staff is friendly and helpful, by the way - the hostess speaks Russian. A lovely and quiet courtyard. Metro station (Manzoni) is very close. Termini station, Colosseum, Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore are in a walking distance about 15 min.

They say they have 24 hour service which they do not! Host was not friendly to us. Cleanliness was subpar example the bathroom was horrendous there was a washer in there that was bigger than the shower itself, bottles littered all over the shower so it wasn't even presentable, and dirty towels all over it and on the floor. There was WiFi but literally unconnectable. No individual beds and the bed was not even flat it was broken in the middle. Not worth what we paid. Location was not good.

One the best hostels I have stayed in Europe. They really focus on service and don't just want your money. They actually care about your stay. They clean the rooms and bathroom everyday, so it is always clean (that's really important and rare in hostels in Europe). They prepare your breakfast the night before so you can eat it whenever you want. They are extremely friendly and nice. Definitely recommend staying there. US students.

My stay at Home Friends this past week for semana santa was great. They are very nice and helpful with maps and directions. It is also a good location and walking distance to the termini station. Also a walking distance to the coliseo about 15 minutes just depends on how much you enjoy walking. They also have towels for you and breakfast. The only bad part I guess would be there is only 1 bathroom but you dont have to share it with so many people. I would stay here again =)

Everything else is good if the wifi works and the drainage gets better.

The stuff was accomodating, they let us leave our bags after the check out time! The place was clean and close to the centre of Rome, just a ten-minute walk to Colosseum, less than a minute to the subway stop Manzoni. There are just a few bad things to point out: they gave my friends a shared bathroom bedroom instead of a private (the shared bathroom was clean); the poor breakfast. It was a good and cheap place to stay for everybody, after all.

The hostel staff was very nice. Even if they are not very proficient in English, they did their best to communicate with us.

Staff didnt know we had a reservation, so there was no staff in the hotel, but after 30min someone showed up. But that was not really a problem and I really liked the hotel.

The location was good, within walking distance of the colleseum and it is 100m away from a metro so it is very easy to get around by Rome standards, but it is a room in an apartment, so no community hostel-esq feel.. There is a restaurant downstairs called Aisha that we highly recommend. No English was spoken but it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was in the room and was simply crackers, croissant and an apple, ok for the price. Did have sporadic wifi connection problems, but only minor,

We had a great stay! Staff was very nice, have us a shuttle to the airport extremely early in the morning. The only problem was trying to find it, directions are not quite clear. Overall, good if you want a quiet place to stay!

We used the 4 bed room. We were quiet travelers and enjoyed the quietness. The room was always clean but some smoking was allowed in the hotel lobby. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great as metro rides are easy and the hotel is close to a metro stop.
