By far the best hostel i've ever stayed at! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. the free walking tours are fun and the hostel does your laundry for free! Mamas dinner is a must (so good). met a lot of really cool people there, this place really could be my second home!

The greatest decision of my life has been to stay at this hostel. It really is a Home away from Home & the staff are there to make you feel that way. Every little detail is accommodated for, including the most amazing 3 course Portuguese dinner made by Mama herself, and adapters glued to the sockets in every room. The shower facilities are better than a 5 star hotel & the beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The only issue with this hostel is that IT IS SO AMAZING you'll want to stay inside all day

This is the best hostel that I've stayed in, as simple as that. I really have no complains. Our guide, who wasn't staying there, was even allowed to use the kitchen and other facilities :)

This was one of my favourite hostels! It felt like a hotel and the only real downside I can see is the small flight of stairs before accessing the elevator to the rest of the building... if you have lots of luggage. It was close to the subway and they have a lot of free services - my favourite being the free laundry service!

The hostel was the greatest value for our money that we had during all our stay in Europe! The staff was friendly, helpful qnd always ready to help and give up tips for our next destinations. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food they served was excellent, and we hqd the best Pub Crawl ever with the Wild Walkers. Thanks a million Home Lisbon Hostel, if we ever go back to Lisbon, you will see us again for sure!!

Love this hostel, worth to join mamma's dinner, really nice chance to meet pepople and food is great too. Staff are helpful and freindly. However, the bathroom and toilet is mixed so a bit embarrassed.

Honestly, when you decide to go to a hostel, you pretty much know you're trying to save money and you sacrifice other things. Well, for Home Lisbon, sure there were the minor annoyances of hostels, however, the atmosphere and the staff more than made up for it. The staff was quite friendly, Momma's dinner was awesome (recommended, it was great value and it was delicious), they knew how to create a friendly atmosphere so people could meet, etc. Cleanliness was good too, can't complain!

I travelled to Lisbon for the first time on my own and what a blast!! The hostel was great, the staff are very friendly and always ready to help you. Even when they get very busy they will always aknowledge you. The morning walking tour is good and I recomend you do it. Mama's food is tasty and you can choose to have the 3 course meal for good value! Joao advised me on where to go for a couple of days surfing and reffered me to a friend in Ericeira at Lapoint surf camp. more to say but no space.

This hostel had friendly staff that all spoke multiple languages and helped my group plan exactly what we wanted to see in Lisbon. They had 2 different free walking tours, a pub crawl, and they even had an option to have a meal cooked by mama which was to die for! It was everything that anyone could ever want from a cheap hostel. Check this place out!
