Our hostess, the hostel owner, was very knowledgable and informative and went out of her way to check info for us and share ideas for site-seeing and eating out etc. Her assistants were also happy and helpful and all spoke excellent English. The owner was also very generous with sharing a glass of wine etc, we felt most welcome and included in with all the people staying, max of 12 beds. The hostel was full when we stayed and yet there was no long waiting for shower etc.

I had a brilliant stay there, the girl who runs the hostel is super!

The hostel staff were super helpful and we had a great, although too short, stay there. The hostel had a very relaxed feeling and we spent a lot of time hanging out in the kitchen chatting with staff and guests.

Very Nice Hostel. Probably the Best in Vilnius. Everything is in a close Range. Bus and Train Stop are in 10 minute Walk. The City Center where all the Actions is 5 minutes walk. Its like the Hostel is in the middle of anything. Clean, Secure and best of all very Friendly. The Stuff is Always there to give you the best guidance to most of the things you will want to do in the town , or Outside the Town. Bus routes and maps are available in the place. Will Stay for sure Again. ;) Aciu

A really nice place to stay, close to the city center! The owner is really kind and helpful, gives the best advices to enjoy Vilnius (what to see, where to eat and drink, where to go out...) Thank you for the really pleasant stay we had there!

well. i would surely come back and recommend this hostel. they are very nice. also i booked for more days and than i realisated that i do not need to be there on night. they gave me money back, which was very lovely, because i told it sort of last minute - one day in distance, but, anyway.....

The hostel is closed to bus and train station as well as old town. The bed was big. Clean place. And the most important thing is that the staff is very nice and so friendly for me and others. So, I would recommend this hostel.

This was one of my favorite hostels of anywhere I've stayed in the world. The woman who runs the hostel provides a great atmosphere, engages all of the guests in conversations, which facilitates this amazing cultural and knowledge exchange. It's a small hostel, but the word cozy is appropriate, and there are fun and games on a low-key level.

Staying at this place will make you feel really at home. The hostess Lina, was very hospitable, informative, and supportive.

This is the best hostel I've ever been to.

I had a very special time in home made house. It's a small place, so the owner Lina and her friend Laima were constantly bringing the guests out for dinner and drinks, even a folk music gathering. Laima also baked poppy cake for us, and Lina made pumpkin soup to go with some local berry wines one night. I made many friends here because of their efforts and had an amazing time. Transcends your typical hostel experience; I'd recommend visiting Vilnius just to stay here.

The hostel was extremely clean, nice and comfortable and perfectly located. We stayed in the 6 bed dorm. The only problem was that as it has no doors it's extremely loud in the night when people are chatting downstairs sometimes till 4 in the morning when there're some people who'd like to sleep at that time. A sign reading "no loud voices after 11pm" or something would be great. Everything else, especially Linna, the owner, were excellent! would always come back and recommend it to anyone

This Hostel is easy to find, and in a great location, just a few minutes walk into the old town. There is a warm welcome from the owner, whom as a good knowlege of Vilnius. The hostel is clean and tidy. Excellent value for money. I would recommend you make Home Made House your first choice when you stay in Vilnius.
