Really clean, really friendly, really relaxed. A nice place to stay with a great breakfast
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We didn't get the room we booked with the doublé bed which was disappointing howver I think this was because we arrived so early in the morning and the staff tried to accomodate us. The brerakfast was good and included which was hard to figure out when booking. Overall I would recomed the hostel however, the travel agency tried to sell us a trek into the Canyon when we knew it had been closed due to recent earthquake so I wouldnt trust the travel agency.
The room was pretty whatever, although the hot water worked. The location was a little further than I'd bargained for from the main square. I'm not sure about the value for money, especially because we came from Puno, where we had stayed in a hostel that was $3-4 more expensive per night but $10-12 nicer. It did, however, have by some margin the best breakfast I've encountered in my past two months traveling. Pancakes (crepe-style), every day! And an egg. Reliably good start to the day.
That staff and location were excellent! Wifi was reliable and breakfast cooked fresh daily really reinforced the name, "Home Sweet Home" even if you don't usually eat on a rooftop terrace with volcanic views.
