A very helpful general manager. Organized transport with a good reasonable rate. Pay for everything at the end of the stay. Will come back to stay at the same HSH end of year 2013.

Tuk tuks supplied by this guesthouse were in a very poor state and unreliable and unsafe. Hire good ones elsewhere for same price. Otherwise good.

They promised us to pick us up at the bus station but nobody came and nobody answered the phone - it was very frustrating in the middle of the night after travelling 6 hours. The staff was rather indifferent about this. The room was okay but there was a shortage of electricity for more than a day and the hotel wasn't prepared to handle this kind of problems (the hotel next to us had a generator, Home Sweet Home only had candles). We were really satisfied with the tuk-tuk driver of the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was disappointing that the wireless was not available in my room and the noise from a local wedding was too much. It lasted for two days and started at 5:30 in the morning! Not something I wanted on my vacation. The room was large and comfortable and the hostel was well maintained.

Nice value for money hostel but the staff always tried to make us pay more but let us confused with the price of the room, tuktuk, breakfast and so on. Try to have only Cambodian Riel instead of US dollars to avoid wrong exchange rate.

I booked the room online and recieved confirmation email, BUT when we finally arrive in the evening, very tired, they said there's no room for us and ask the tuktuk driver to help us find another place to stay, the driver was nice, took us to three hostels& hotels, then finally find a place accepted us. the staff was with terrible attitude. the hostel also arranged us a tuktuk driver and told us the driver can explain the history of the Angkor to us. BUT actually his english is very poor.

It’s a nice place, cheap beer and okay-ish rooms. The bathroom was pretty awful and the AC didn’t work, but they beds were good. Just please take my advice and be aware about the exchange rates. I checked the rate online for Thai Baht (THB) to Cambodian Riel (KHR) and it was at the time roughly THB 1,000 to KHR 133,000. How much did the hostel offer me? THB 1,000 for KHR 30,000. They organised a tuk-tuk to see the temples and bus out of town, which was nice. Free taxi to/from bus station!

I booked Home Sweet Home for 2 nights, and we loved it so much that we stayed for 4 nights. It's clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is very helpful, the showers are warm, and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

A great place to stay. A little further to walk to Pub St. than we thought it would be. The staff were extremely helpful in all matters. Good food and drink available on site.

Very helpful staff that let us use a room for free while waiting for our night bus to the border. Good restaurant and pleasant atmosphere. Charity 'White Bycicle' hire available for a good cause for €2 around the corner. 30min cycle to Angkor. Very happy and thankful for our time here.

Nice hostel and good value for money. A bit of the party street, but only 10 min walk or 5 min by tuk tuk. The foallet was fresh but it had a brooken door. The staff was exellent and the prices for a tukk tuk around ankor for 1 day was 15 dollar was cheep. The resturant at the grounds where a bit expensive but there are cheep eting around the area.
