Write-up on the Hostelworld website is fiction. Says: All rooms free 24hr Wi-Fi Truth: Wifi at reception only cable TV Truth: Nonexistent free minibar Truth: Say what? free coffee and tea every morning Truth: Not available free drinking water Truth: No such thing! private bathroom with hot water. There's also air-conditioning/fan! Truth: You get hot water ONLY if you pay for the air-conditioner

It's a good stay overall, just that the air-conditioning might need some checking on, as it's not really cold, especially when we were sweating all over after a day's travelling outside.

I think the working staff there should tell me the time for check out since different hotels have different check-out time and it slightly changes according to locations in suburb areas or urban regions.

I'd like to join an other comment that stated that the owner should understand that we dont all want to do excursions with the tuktuks provided by him... After we declined the offer, he wouldn't sell us cold water nor say hello...very childish... The GH was in a quiet place, clean, 15 min walk from the central market. we slept very well, but there are plenty around with nice staff. PS forget about busterminal pickup after 21h...

Great value for money. Staff extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Building with colonial character. Good wif. For $2 you can upgrade your room with good breakfast included.

We booked a five bed family room on Hostels.com, arrived got our key and were sent to a room without a lock, just a big hole. We pushed the door opened, a horrible smell came surprised us, and there was a man sleeping in one of (our) beds. He just said that we couldn\'t stay there. Instead they tried to to divide us up, 4 of us in one room, and 1 alone, saying that they would fix everything the next day. We argued for our deposit back and ended up staying at Two Dragons, much better!

Amazing staff that picked me up right outside my bus for free and connected me with everything I needed including a night bus to Bangkok and a rickshaw driver for the day around Ankor Wat, I couldn't ask for anything more for the price!

Our stay here was fantastic. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful without being pushy. We booked for 4 nights and stayed for 6 because Siam Reap turned out to be such a great city with a really great vibe. The hostel is a little ways away from the main drag where there is a wider variety of food and shopping options, but otherwise perfect. If we come back we would stay there again without hesitation.
