Home Travelers - Athinaikon Reviews

A good and cheap place to stay in Athens, very close to every interesting place to visit and to metro station that goes straight to airport or port, a must. Would certainly come back

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Athinaikon. The area where the hotel is located is a bit sketchy looking, but we never felt unsafe. It's about a 5 minute walk from the Plaka, 15 or so from the Acropolis (you can see the acropolis but you have to walk around to the front to climb it). The staff was absolutely wonderful and the hotel was very clean. Great value for the price.

We stayed here for a couple nights and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The locations is realllly close to the acropolis and the metro, so thats awesome. The name "Home Travelers" isn't on the sign out front so we went inside to ask if this was the same place. We spent like 10 min talking to them till they realized we booked on hostelworld and found our reservation. It was alright overall.

Lovely place - friendly and helpful staff, very clean and excellent value. Internet access would be a great addition, but I'd definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect, the staff, the rooms are clean, the location, the price. 100% recommended.
