i really enjoyed my stay in the HomePlus Hostel. Andrew, the owner, is really nice. He showed us the best places to go in Budapest. He is really great and funny. The hostel is very well located, clean, secured, just perfect.

The hostel was very welcoming and Andrew gave us a lot of attention and help. The location is great and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! We felt right at home with the warm and friendly atmosphere. Andrew goes out of his way to ensure that his guests get the most out of their stay in Budapest. I would definitely stay here again!

Chris the owner is a great fellow who was attentive and helpful. he will sit down with you and give good recommendations with patience for every newcomers regardless of how late it might be, and answers the questions you might have. He is funny too and we had lots of laughs. The instructions given for entry through the main door may have to be checked. I had trouble with it when I first got there.

My brother and I stayed for three days during December and it's safe to say that this was the best hostel we have stayed at. Andrew is one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet and he provides a very welcoming atmosphere for all of his guests. He regularly goes out of his way to make his guests feel safe and secure, much more than you can say about many other hostel owners. We loved this hostel and will definitely come back!

The HomePlus Hostel was the best hostel that I have ever been. The attention given by Mr. Andrew was awesome. He spent much time showing us the best places of Budapest to visit and really made us feel at home. About the hostel's conditions, everything was well decorated and very clean. We will certainly return!

This is my all-time favorite hostel and I've stayed in dozens, all over the world. The location can't be beat; it's virtually on the banks of the Danube, at Margarite Bridge( with public transportation right outside the door, though all the museums and other town sights are within walking distance anyway). The hostel is accessible at all hours and those interested in Budapest's active nightlife will find some of the city's best bars and clubs within stumbling distance. The owner is esp. helpful

Andrew was an amazing host. He let us get situated and then told us all the places we needed to go in Budapest and told us of a few authentic Hungarian places to eat. Our trip was the best it could have been because of his help with showing us the places to go. I highly recommend anyone who travels to Budapest to stay at Homeplus Hostel!!

This hostel was simply incredible. It is situated in a very nice area ( you can walk to get anyway you want). Andrew, the owner, gave me a royal treatment. He showed me everything i had to know and he is really passionate about his work.

best hoster ever

We spent five days in Budapest last week, and this hostel made it an even better vacation spot! Located just by the river, it's friendly and warm but not too noisy. All the staff are very kind and helpful. Hot shower, internet, cute little kitchen, it had everything we needed for a very affordable price! Thank you Andrew and Mark, we sure will go back to Budapest someday, and your hostel is one of the reasons! :)

Let me just say this - I travel to Budapest often and I stay in this hostel every time. A tip for running enthusiasts: the hostel is really near Margitsziget (an island in the middle of the river), probably the most awesome place for a nice morning run in the middle of the city.

Andrew is absolutely incredible and will do anything at all to accommodate you and make sure you are as comfortable as possible. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge of Budapest and also helped me book different excursions around the city. I highly recommend this hostel. I will be back.

As a seasoned vagabond I have stayed in dozens of hostels all over the world, and I can truly say that this was my all-time favorite. The management and staff made me feel more than welcome, like a dear old friend or favorite family member, lovingly cared for. Certainly I hope to return to this truly special place and these remarkabe people, some of the finest I have ever encountered. BUDAPEST ROCKS

I felt very fortunate to find this hostel. It is clean, small, and really does feel like a home. Their bathrooms are quite private. Their showers are reliable. Most of all, the two men who work there are two of the nicest guys you will ever meet. They will go the extra mile in assuring your trip in Budapest is the best it can possibly be. Its not usually a feeling I get from hostel wokers, but these guys definitely have the interest of the guests. Thanks for the amazing four nights guys!
