Great location, very friendly and helpful owner and a great winebar downstairs where you can sample high quality hungarian wines at reasonable prices.

Great experience! Andrew is so friendly, helped us the first day find things to do for the rest of our trip. And every time we came back to the hostel he made sure we were having a great time and able to see everything. I would definitely go back!

Friendly atmosphere, the staff not only introduces us the famous spots but also suggest some local places for us, which is somehow more interesting than just rush to the well-known places! Definitely going again when I go to Budapest!

Excellent little hostel. Clean with decent location. The host Andrew is amazingly helpful. Sufficient showers and toilets available such that there is no waiting time in the morning. Overall, a really good place to stay!

The location was very good, and close to all important locations. The beds were very comfortable and the atmosphere was very friendly. The owner, Andrew was so kind and helpful....we felt like we were at home. Our experience there was very good. We would stay there again.

Andrew was great! Very gracious host, took us out for lunch, told us key places to visit during our 28 hours in Budapest. The hostel itself was starting to feel it's age, with the locker being a little tough to open & close, bathroom and toilets just about due for some upkeep work. We had some brief issues getting in and out with door codes, but it was all sorted out fairly quickly by Andrew. Overall a great experience in Budapest

Great visit and Andrew is an amazingly generous host. A proud Budapest resident and a worldly traveller himself, he truly loves people and helping people make the most of their stay in Budapest.

Fantastic, sweet little hostel with fabulous amenities - laundry, towels, good shower pressure, very clean, great decorations, extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff who welcomed me and made me feel comfortable and safe.

One of my favourite hostels I have ever stayed in. Andrew and his staff are some of the most friendly and helpful people you can hope to meet. They will spend time helping you with whatever you need. Bed was extremely comfy and the location was great to. Hope to come back and stay again!

This hostel was a true gem in gorgeous Budapest! Andrew is fantastic and made us feel relaxed straight away (even at 1am). Andrew was very helpful in getting us orientated with Budapest and was always keen to offer advice on places to see and eat. The location is great - just down the road from Parliament and all major sites are within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant hostel with an awesome owner. Directly after our arrival he explained us everything and gave us some useful advices about the city. The rooms are large, so even a 9 person bedroom is comfortable. The location is very close to the river and just a 5 minute walk from the train station. You can reach a lot of sights by foot but, if not a station is just around the corner. After four days in Budapest we can highly recommend staying in this hostel. This is a belated review, nonetheless my opinion stays the same: "HomePlus" is the perfect name for this hostel. Hospitality, space, proximity to many of the must-see sites in the heavenly Budapest are but a few of what this place offers. You are also sure to meet some awesome fellow travelers. Andrew is a great host who's going to help you make the best use out of your stay there. I recommend this place and this city. Happy travels.

We had the most wonderful stay in Budapest which was definitely made extra special thanks to our hostel. We were three girls and the owner, andrew was SO helpful with places we would like and things to do. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Location was great easy to get to the train station and 15 min walk to the old town. We walked everywhere but trams were easy from the hostel as well. Showers& rooms were basic but fine. Bring a padlock. Cosy common room. we want to go back!
