Standard room with bad smell because no window could open. Upgraded to superior room which was much better and cleaner.

I only stayed one night. Airport pickup went well, room was nice, breakfast was ok, somewhat businesslike more than friendly. Coming from Thailand and Cambodia, the friendliness factor was definitely missing, it was ok . However, they were very much in touch before my arrival on airport pickups, tours needed, etc. so that was a nice touch.

Hong Hang hotel is placed in the main backpackers street, full of night life and close to the main attractions of Saigon (10-minutes-walk to Ben Tanh market). It has no lift so it is hard if your room is on the 7th floor. Breakfast is good, at a nice terrace facing the street. Staff is very friendly. Shoes are not used in the whole building, so they provide you with slippers to walk inside. We book 2 excursions with them: Cuchi and Cai Be, they were ok. Beer only 10000 vnd :)

Located conveniently close to the tourist area, if you like that kind of scene. We were only there for a night so even though we aren't fans of the pubs and backpacker hang out places, we didn't mind. It's a 15 minute walk to the main market and all the attractions so not the best location but still manageable. The receptionist was extremely helpful and his english was fantastic. He was very accommodating and helped us book our day trip to Cu Chi tunnels. Room was excellent. Highly recommend.

The Hostel was or entry point to Vietnam. It was really great staying there. The owner was very nice and helped us organize a trip to the Mekong Delta and a hotel for one night after the Mekong Delta (unfortunately we couldn't stay that night in Hong Jan, since it was fully booked) Definitely worth a stay.

When we left the hotel emailed regarding a payment for water puppet theater tickets. The staff forgot to charge us for this at check out which we also didn't realise; they then had ample time to realise their mistake as we remained at the hotel all day prior to our overnight train. The subsequent email correspondence was unprofessional and unreasonable requesting a money transfer to an individual account where we would incur an international transaction fee. Why should we pay for their mistake?

Everything about my stay was pretty good except that the male/female staff often did a poor job communicating with each other about services provide for me. Often the male staff was a little flip at the mouth with I did not appreciate, but they didn't intrude too much during my stay.

Very clean. Right on the main street but surprisingly quiet. Very helpful management. I would be very happy to stay there again.

This hotel was fantastic, not overly cheap but well worth it as i like to spend some time in the hotel. We arrived at 7am and the standard double room i booked was not ready (understandable) but they offered a larger room for only $4 more a night to check into straight away and it was fantastic. the room was great! Excellent facilities. If your not on a super tight backpackers budget this if the place as only 1 street away from the bus stop and FREE quality breakfast daily!

I had an excellent stay at Hong Han, rooms were spacious and very clean, the beds were very clean as well. Fresh towels provided everyday. Anh is a truly hospitable owner and host who really does his best to help guests with day trips and advice in general. For the price, surely the best value for money hotel in Saigon. Breakfast was also provided everymorning, a baguette and omelette with coffee, tea and juice. When i return to Saigon, i will no doubt choose Hong Han hotel again.

Everything was great. Anh is the best. He gave us fantastic advice and helpful tips from everything ranging from how to get a vietnamese sim card to where to go to dinner. Good location, right in the backpacker hub with walking distance to the markets and an easy cab ride to everywhere else. Fantastic value too!

Everything was great! The staff, the location, the breakfast. They are very friendly, helpful and speak very good English. The place was really clean. The only minus was the madras ( it was really hard) but for the price you pay is ok with a hard madras!
