It was a great hostel in Hongdae, an artist district in Seoul. The hostel was clean and Henry(the owner of the hostel) was very nice. He picked us up, brought us to the cab, etc. It was like being in a house but not being restricted. we had access to internet all the time. in addition breakfast was good, we always got water and tea for free. all in all, a perfect hostel!!

It did feel very homely, particularly being able to make your own breakfast and sit and chat with other guests. Henry who runs it, it is so helpful and does anything to help out. Great value and very comforable.

Hongdae guesthouse is a lovely place! I had a great time there and the stuff is very very friendly! The location is good, hongdae is the area to be! (although the taxis arent really able to find the guesthouse, but thats clearly a problem of the taxis and not the guesthouse :)) Stay there and you'll have a great time in Seoul!

Excellent hostel who really work to look after their guests. They may even give you a little treat. It's reasonably easy to find if one calls or looks at the map on this site. Nice place and a little fun. I'll be back. Watch for the heated floors!

The manager spoke great english and went out of his way to make us feel at home. Great location, close to the subway and nightlife but quiet for sleep. Highly recommend Yellow Submarine for anyone staying in Seoul.
