Excellent Location, 1-2 minutes walk from Hongik Univ Station exit #1 or #2. In front of the building there's a bus stop for airport bus #6002. Walk around the area, you'll find food, shops, clubs. I booked the female dorm room, check in is fast n easy. Clean room, fast wifi, pc in the room, hair dryer, drinking water, eating utensil, toilet tissue, room heater. Met some really nice people. Never had breakfast because always left very early, the office open 09.00am-22.00pm.

My room was spacious although I have to share with 5 room-mates (my room was 8 beds female dorm), I was quite satisfied with all facilities, my only complaint is they don't have common room, they just have an office and tell us to have our breakfast in their office, so we never wanted to go inside their office just to have our breakfast.

Hongdae Guesthouse is awesome.. The location is great and also it's connected directly to MRT station "Hongik University Station" Very recommended

Hongdae Guesthouse is really a good place to stay in Seoul. Facilities - the rooms are big and with all facilities you need; Secure - Digital room lock as well as a private locker in your room; Location - Metro is within 30 seconds on foot, and no changes needed from the airport to the hostel. Warm - Staffs are super friendly and helpful! I arrive there very late at around 0130 in the midnight and they still wait for me. And help me to take the heavy luggage. I think we can't request more!

The hostel is located just above the subway station. It's very convenient for moving luggage. Staff there are very nice and helpful. It would be great if the cleanliness of the room can be improved a bit. Will recommend friends to stay if they look for a really convenient place with a budget.

perfect location, the hostel is very clean and provides for breakfast in the morning. the dorms are big enough for more than 4 people and the atmosphere is very nice.

The hostel was spacious and clean, as well as in a great location. Their staff helped me with my luggage. Something they did not have to do, but they are just really nice people. They even had a clean towel waiting for me on my bed, so I didn't have to ask for one. I would go to this place all over again! And if you need wifi, they have it, plus a community computer. Great place!

When we arrived at the guesthouse, we thought that the staff would help us to handle our luggages...but nothing, not even open the door to let us get through with our heavy belongings. After checkin-in, it was the last time we saw the staff ( exept the cleaner). Concerning the room, if it's not cleaned often, it turns really durty and "risky" ( My friend dropped inside...because of wet/durty floor). As for other points, I'd say our room was pretty good. Not really for the atmosphere though.

Basically there is nothing you can complain about the location and the facilities. It is just above the hongdae station and they have hairdryer and even water machine in the guest room. The room is also spacious but it is different from hostels because it doesn't have a common room that you can mingle with other travelers, except those in your room, which is like a flat. The toilet may get a bit dirty after someone showers but it is clean generally. Staff is helpful if you seek assistance.

This hostel has an excellent location, right next to the Hongik University subway stop. Other than that it is a pretty average place to stay. I would stay here again, especially if I needed to take the airport railroad from the Hongik University stop, but I usually stay at places with a bit more character. The price is good and it's a decent place to sleep but you probably won't meet many travlers because there isn't a central place to hang out, just a series of apartments turned into dorm rooms

This hostel has a great location as it is basically attached to the Hongik University station, which is very close to many sightseeing spots. The staff is friendly, the price is low and free breakfast is a plus. The hostel can even get discounts for different performance shows. I myself went to a show called "Cooking Nanta", which was great fun. This hostel is definitely good value for money.

Power outlets weren't enough and far from my bed. Electrecal blanket wasn't working but everything else was perfect. Awesome location clean toilets warm bedrooms. What could we ask for more?
