The location couldn't be better, right off the subway heading into Hongdae but far enough away that you dont hear the clubs when you're trying to sleep. The place was very clean and neat also. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Hongdae.

Excellent location... great staff. Also, check out their Hongdae Guesthouse 2.0 hostel... I like its character better.

It's adequate. There are better hostels nearby. It does not feel overly clean, rather, it looked a bit messy to me. . There are many worse options also. The location is wonderful, but quite realistically, there are other hostels very close to exits of the Airport Express too. If you have to catch an early morning flight, those might actually be more conveniently located. That being said, you'll be fine if you stay here for a couple of nights.

Excellent Location, 1-2 minutes walk from Hongik Univ Station exit #1 or #2. In front of the building there's a bus stop for airport bus #6002. Walk around the area, you'll find food, shops, clubs. I booked the female dorm room, check in is fast n easy. Clean room, fast wifi, pc in the room, hair dryer, drinking water, eating utensil, toilet tissue, room heater. Met some really nice people. Never had breakfast because always left very early, the office open 09.00am-22.00pm.

My room was spacious although I have to share with 5 room-mates (my room was 8 beds female dorm), I was quite satisfied with all facilities, my only complaint is they don't have common room, they just have an office and tell us to have our breakfast in their office, so we never wanted to go inside their office just to have our breakfast.

Hongdae Guesthouse is awesome.. The location is great and also it's connected directly to MRT station "Hongik University Station" Very recommended

Hongdae Guesthouse is really a good place to stay in Seoul. Facilities - the rooms are big and with all facilities you need; Secure - Digital room lock as well as a private locker in your room; Location - Metro is within 30 seconds on foot, and no changes needed from the airport to the hostel. Warm - Staffs are super friendly and helpful! I arrive there very late at around 0130 in the midnight and they still wait for me. And help me to take the heavy luggage. I think we can't request more!

The hostel is located just above the subway station. It's very convenient for moving luggage. Staff there are very nice and helpful. It would be great if the cleanliness of the room can be improved a bit. Will recommend friends to stay if they look for a really convenient place with a budget.

The best guesthouse in seoul!!

perfect location, the hostel is very clean and provides for breakfast in the morning. the dorms are big enough for more than 4 people and the atmosphere is very nice.

The hostel was spacious and clean, as well as in a great location. Their staff helped me with my luggage. Something they did not have to do, but they are just really nice people. They even had a clean towel waiting for me on my bed, so I didn't have to ask for one. I would go to this place all over again! And if you need wifi, they have it, plus a community computer. Great place!

Amazing location and very friendly staff!

When we arrived at the guesthouse, we thought that the staff would help us to handle our luggages...but nothing, not even open the door to let us get through with our heavy belongings. After checkin-in, it was the last time we saw the staff ( exept the cleaner). Concerning the room, if it's not cleaned often, it turns really durty and "risky" ( My friend dropped inside...because of wet/durty floor). As for other points, I'd say our room was pretty good. Not really for the atmosphere though.
