The hostel was great for the money we paid. A bit far from the center of London but easily accessible from the tube and bus. Staff is super nice and helpful. Beds are alright, a tad squeaky.

not the worst hostel I've stayed in but not great... bedding was ripped, frayed and thin. clearly had been used many many times and the sheet didn't fit the mattress properly. everything in the hostel seemed a bit grubby and old. I had to leave early in the morning but as you have to pay a key deposit I had to return my key before the bar shut that evening which meant I had to cut my night short. on the plus side, the room was larger than most I've stayed in and nice and airy.

I was for the first time at the hostel and liked it. It's not like in a hotel, but they are more interesting and friendly people. If I get back to London, I'll be happy to come to your hostel

Good value, for sure. Beds and rooms were decent. Showers were a short walk upstairs, but not a big deal. Kitchen was nice. The only drawback is the loud music at night, if you're not into that. And it's a little difficult to figure out where to go when you first get there, as there are no signs for the actual hostel. (You have to ring the bell at the front door of the pub.)

Staff is chill. The area is... questionable. I personally didn't really enjoy my stay here. I was booked for 5 nights and only stayed for one. No luggage lockers, showers are super small with no locks, beds are uncomfortable, the codes for the doors didn't work half the time for me, which was not fun to deal with at night. One of the staff members was really hot though.

The hostel is a very beautiful place... And if you enjoy with live music, this is your place! At night, it's a noisy place, and the weekend, until 3 am, it's almost impossible sleep... The staff is kind, but I forgot an important file folder with important documents inside, and I sent an email to know about it, and nobody replay me... I'm still waiting!

This place seemed like more of a half way house than a hostel. When we arrived, there was a junkie nodding off on the couch in the common room. Many people there were using the place as a home and although drugs were not visible, drug use was clearly rampant. A single resident gave the advice of "this is not a place I would bring a girl along with me."

Nice hostel with a good atmosphere. Its a little bit out of the city, so you have to go by train a like 20 minutes, so still ok. Everything else was good value for the price. Really nice stuff and a bar downstairs=) so maybe you don't want to stay in the girls dorm on weekends, cause it gets really loud, but if you are tired you can't hear it ;)

Great venue with extraordinary atmosphere in the heart of my beloved Brixton. It was my second stay at HNH and for sure not the last one!

Dirty, cool, small showers. Reggae concerts under the bedrooms every night until 1 or 2 am. Access to the bar is restricted by bouncers, since it is public-- you'll need to go around the front and wait in line. Lots of smokeys staying here long term, too. Not my favorite experience, although Brixton is cool.

The four showers I had were all cold. I informed the staff and they said they would work on it. They later told me it was fixed however when I had another shower, it was cold again. I don't think the floor in my room had been cleaned in some time, couldn't walk bare foot, you could feel the dirt under your feet. I wasn't told where the bathrooms were, or that I had a locker available to me or about breakfast. Was very disappointed with my stay and was thrilled to be leaving.

The best part about staying here was that the people, working and staying there, were all really nice! Also, it is a good location because the bar itself is a lot of fun and had really great music!

-Water in showers was freezing cold one day -Shower room and washroom were colder than it was outside.. need new windows or something -Should be a little food discount for downstairs too! :) -Super friendly staff upon arrival -Washroom needs a hand dryer or paper towels -Showers are annoying as hell.. they shut off every 9 seconds (I counted)

Although it was a bit confusing with all the alleys and doors (sometimes we felt like "Alice in Wonderland"), we liked the kitchen very much, especially that the breakfast stuff was upfilled until 11.30 am. Thank you very much! We enjoyed staying at your place.
