I like here compared to the hostel where am staying now. HOOT is a reasonable for saving money and the oom is big nd comfy. Free dinner On Fridays is also surprised me..it is to so far away romantic centre buses r convenient . The only thing is a little it loud downstairs cause of the pub. But of ourselves if u like it you probably enjoy your staying...Good place and I like here

Great social atmosphere. Location was awesome, only a few stops to city centre. Good kitchen and common areas. Need lots of codes to get through doors so security isn't an issue. Bar downstairs plays live music so can be a little loud but earplugs fix that.

Though the staff is friendly and helpful, I really disliked the hostel itself. The layout is confusing, you have to have a key and memorize 3 codes to get to your room, and the girl' shower was the worst. I felt anxious about taking one in there. It's a public shower and 2 of the 3 showerheads were broken (they only spewed out hot, scalding water). The reception desk is only open from 9 am to 5 pm and the music from the bar below is so loud it shakes the beds until 1 am or later.

It was an ideal location for the purpose of our visit. The atmosphere was great. But music did keep awake. Not the fault of the hostel just happened to be a live band playing. Staff were polite and helpful. Definitely recommend for people to stay.

Everyone was very friendly and the staff was excellent. It comes with a common room and a kitchen which is really nice for hanging out and making meals. The kitchenware is a little worn out but it's better to have something rather than nothing at all. The beds in the room were pretty unstable making the top bunk rock about a foot each way which was a little off putting. Overall had a great stay in London!

Guests and stuff contribute to nice atmosphere in the hostel, but other then being cheep, it is only good thing about the place. If you would like to take a shower, be prepared to leave all your things outside of cabin in public bathroom, as it is all really small. Sure you could use tiny locker provided to store valuables, but it does not look safe. Big theft does not seem to be a problem, but someone was stilling my juice (signed, as hostel rules advice) every night. Remember to take earplugs

Quite tired, very average hostel. Fine for us as we were just after a place to black out after the Rugby 7s. Some members from our group, on a completely seperate booking to mine, were unable to make it. I was asked by the hostel staff to pay for their beds, which I thought was pretty unprofessional. Take a deposit if you want to cover yourself against that risk.

The only irritating thing is all this codes in every door! They should use smart cards, but once again is a small place, to go inside you need to use at least 3 codes! With 6 or more numbers! The pub is one of my favourites, but a bit disappointed now you have to pay £0.50 for card transactions I had spent £12.50 also security and toilet lady really annoying! Sort it out plz!

The condition of this hostel is below average. It is run down, dirty and loud throughout the night. Given that it is above a bar with live music, ear plugs are a must in order to get sleep at all. The kitchen was dirty and the toilets sometimes lacked toilet paper. The showers, however, always had warm/hot water and were never crowded so that was a plus. The manager was also friendly. Overall, the only perk of this hostel was that it is close to the O2 Academy Brixton.

Hostel is in a good location and has live music playing in the pub underneath on the weekend. This may mean it's not the best spot to stay on the weekend as the music is very loud until the early hours of the morning (3am). Otherwise has the basic facilities you'd expect from a hostel and is conveniently across the road from a large Sainsburys.

Really enjoyed our stay - only thing was having the 5 different codes for access back into the hostel... I think we should be given an emergency number to call in case we lose the codes as a small piece of paper isn't very sufficient!
