Very small and pricy but I guess it is standard for HK and one of the best compared to the rest.

The staff was very nice and helpful, the place looked really nice. Our room was very small so we couldn't open both suitcases at the same time but it was ok. Our room didn't have windows but it was still very noisy because of a big vent. The walls were very thin so it was very noisy. Woke up in the morning covered in bites from bedbugs! Has never happened to us before, really disgusting.

I had a small, windowless cubicle with a glass ensuite bathroom and AC. This was fine for my purposes. I wanted to sleep and to explore Hong Kong. The hostel is very well located, just off Nathan Rd. It's very clean. There wasn't really a communal space. There are several restuarants/cafes in the same building. I think for the price and location it was great and served its purpose. The two members of staff I met were friendly and helpful.

Love this hostel! The location was great. It was right in the center of everything~ 5 minute walk from the ferries and the harbor and only a block away from Nathan Road, but very quiet. I wouldn't stay here if you're looking to meet other travelers, as there is no common area, but if you're looking for a nice, clean and quiet hostel it's definitely worth it! I would stay here again!

We found our twin room an excellent, though small accommodation with a stunning view of the city below. The decor was charming our room was decorated with cray-pas caricatures of goldfish and the desk help was warm and friendly. I\'m not crazy about the \"your shower is your bathroom\" set-up, but it is what it is. The bathroom is clear glass within the room, but a shower curtain proffered the necessary privacy for toilet and shower use. All in all, a delightful experience.

Very nice place, each room as peace of art, great terrace and common room, huge choice of movies, excellent location, very friendly staff. Rooms are small with transparent bathrooms, but this is typical to Hongkong hotels.

this hostel was amazing! worth every cent. the staff is so warm and friendly, and the rooms are SO cute! every one painted in a different style, the rooms are just so unique and beautiful. super clean. don't be fooled by the building exterior (looks like a ruined abandoned building from the outside), hop inn is truly a gem. it even has a rooftop area to hang out and really nice DVDs and TV in room. made our hong kong stay truly memorable. only downside was the mattress--a bit hard on the back.

The room had no window which made it slightly claustrophobic and very dark, but as we were jetlagged it made sleeping through the day easy! The room and en-suite were both spotlessly clean and the room was ready early for us as we arrived from the airport in the morning. We initially went to the wrong address which was slightly irritating, but the two places aren't far apart- and are both in excellent central TST locations, near shops, supermarkets and restaurants.

Although the rooms were quite small, they were well maintained, clean and tidy. The staff spoke and communicated in english well and went out of their way to help with maps, locations of things to do and how to get there.

I've stayed at a number of hostels in HK - yesinn, chungking mansion. This was my third time at a hostel, and by far, the best!! Hopinn@Carnavon is just a three minute walk away from Tsim Sha Tsui station. It occupies the entire 9th floor, the fire escape exit is locked so as to ensure no unwelcome visitors can get in without the receptionist noticing. Every room is artistically themed, and they have a great common area and an open air rooftop where you can chill with your friends :)

Seeing pictures online gave me higher expectations, but the real deal was even better than I imagined! Miles above any other hostel I've found in HK.
