Strategic location to explore West Hollywood and downtown LA. Close to metro, supermarkets and lots of Korean and other Asian restaurants. Taken care by a friendly Korean couple, the house comes in different bedroom sizes and a common lounge to prepare your food. On the negative side, the used plates, cutlery, pots and pans were left unattended in the sink thoughout my stay. Not affected since I ate out most of the time. Internet access available. Ideal for explorers with a tight budget.

There were a lot of ants and other animals in the room. Besides that it has been really hot and muffy. the free pancake buffet wasn't as expected too it was just tap water, a waffle mix and a really dirty waffle iron

worth place ever! the owners do not know what a traveler needs! The breakfast is a bad joke! The accommodation is old and awful...there are too many people on too little space in the dorms.. and the owner do not know his city very well...on my last day I had to take a autobus to Mexico and he send me to the wrong direction..I almost missed the bus.. very poor service in a friendly way!

My flight was delayed by four hours. Despite ringing ahead my room was given away and I was left to find somewhere else with very little notice. Three emails to this web site have failed to provide me with a reply as to what my refund status would be. Very disappointed with the service. The owners are really lovely and I do wish them all the best. They did help me find a new place and even drove me there.

the staff at hosana where very helpful. the location is reasonably good. Hostel would be much better if it had a common room, more then one computer and a kitchen area. but all in all thumbs up.

this place is a joke. the owners can barely speak english and sent us to a cash machine on check in because they dont take credit card. the rooms have no fans and are full of old medical equipment. the bathrooms are filthy enough for a pig to live in with ants crawling all over. security is appaling, some tramp came into the place one night asking for change. the "kitchen" consists of a dirty waffle iron and a stinking fridge. only upside is the subway is a block away so you can escape quickly

The location is amazing, right in the center, near both metro and bus. Very safe. Staff extremely friendly. I had a lot of fun there. What more can you ask for 25 bucks in LA?! Very recommended! David Nguyen, Stanford University

The neighbourhood is not very nice and the hostel itself is really dirty - the bathrooms in particular need cleaning. There are no kitchen facilities so preparing own meals is near impossible. The price of the hostel is also very expensive for what you get. On the positive it is close to the metro station and the staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Good central location. Private room was neat and clean with standard facilities. Bathrooms were a bit average and no credit card facilities.
