Door to the shower/bathroom has no lock. There is a sign Occupied/Vacant but many people just ignore it. It's not very pleasant when someone walks in when you're having a shower. There are locks on the room doors but you can always access the locked room through the adjacent one (I had a sliding door to another room and there have not been any locks). So I had to carry all the valuables with me all the time.

Very hard to find, stupid directions. Smoking is allowed in the 'common room' which is in the middle of the hostel so smoke carries everywhere. Seemed like family or family friends were coming to use the facilities (but unsure). We were shocked to find that the shower room was literally a room full of showerheads and a bath to share with other guests, no private stalls.. Left us showering late at night. Not many staff knew english, but were friendly and the hostel was clean. Room was big with tv
