It was not a Hostel, but rather a home where they moved out the one kid to find space for us. There were no other people staying there. The staff was friendly, but only spoke spanish. It was not particularly clean, the toilet in our double room did not work, and the toilet/bath had no door into it so you felt fairly close to each other if one was lying on the bed while the other was taking a shower or using the toilet.
I stayed in a single room ensuite two nights on two occasions (20K COP/night), sandwiching a 4-day trek to The Lost City between stays. Casa Blanca secured my luggage while I was trekking. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Dilsa. The room had a good ceiling fan, natural light and ventilation. The lock for the door was basic but it worked. The hostel and the neighborhood are quiet. I had my laundry cleaned @ 3K COP/kilo. Many restaurants just around the corner and more on Calle 19.
