Hospedaje Casco Viejo's facilities provide our guests with Internet access, entertainment room with color T.V., fully equipped kitchen, laundry area, a charming quaint patio, a spectacular terrace with a magnificent view of the Old Quarter and a room and restroom specially designed for handicapped visitors. Additionally, we offer free service of linen and towels and tourist information. Open 24 hours a day. If required, transportation to and from airport can be arranged (Taxi Fee USD $ 28 ) .

You get what you pay for, folks...it is certainly well-priced but it is quite basic and not all that pretty. The rooms are definitely clean (but again, basic and thin-walled. i had a private room.), but the bathrooms were a bit grimey. Nothing some flip flops cant handle tho, really. The Casco Viejo was in a serious state of renovation when I was there and I had a sense it was gentrifying. The hostel street is a bit deserted, not super nice, but not dangerous. All in all, OK.
