A very small but cozy hostel where the owner, Jesus, is really nice and helpful with everything! There are city maps at the hostel and you can get the shuttle to Parque Nacional del Volcán Rincón de la Vieja very cheaply I did not bring m,y own laptop so Jesus even let me use his own to help me! Washing clothes is very cheap and fast and the rooms nice and clean. Even though breakfast is not included, there is a very big supermarket close by. Thank you so much, Dodero!

The location was great if you are using the bus station to get out of Liberia. The accommodations were fine but we did not feel very welcome by the staff and thought that having to be let in and out of the front gate was very inconvenient.

The temperature was really hot with no AC. Be careful, the wather bottle seems to be local water. So watch the seal.

beautiful garden and kitchen area. bad system for entrance and exit. one girl got locked out cause the worker got drunk and passed out and wouldn't respond to phone calls nor the bell ringing. over all it is a good place especially for a one night stop coming or going to the airport.

CCWe stayed in a private double with AC with a sink. I think there might only be one room like this, it was excellent, despite having no windows. The AC was necessary. The kitchen has a fridge and it is possible to cook, but only one person at a time. The only downside is that there is not enough chairs and places to sit in the garden if the place is full. Staff have lots of information.

Basic accommodations that are a bit hard to find - we had to trek back and forth several times from the bus station to find this one. Once there though, the staff were friendly and made us welcome. The room was extremely basic, with a small TV, ed, and oscillating fan which made it possible to sleep through the sweltering night.

Shawn was so nice, he really made us feel like we were at home. He was the first person I had met after the airport had lost my baggage and he was so reassuring/comforting! Liberia is not that great but I would totally stay there again just so I could stay at this hostel!

Shaun and his staff were very friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be asked if we would like to go to the grocery store on the way to the hostel at 8 pm when we were picked up at the airport. The courtyard is well kept, bright and colourful with flowers, greenery, a hammock., table, chairs, kitchen and a new washing machine. Newly renovated 2 years ago. Excellent location close to shops and bus station. Hot. Air conditioning was appreciated, but our boys were fine with fans in their room too.

I loved this hostel so much that I came back one week later. The little outdoor kitchen is authentic an nice, plus a coffee maker! Great. Staff were friendly and knowledgable and the hostel exuded a calm air of tranquility about it, even during the beginning of Holy Week when it filled out.

If you need a place to stay after a flight into Liberia before your next destination in Costa Rica, this is the perfect place to stay for a night. Small, quiet, and the staff is so friendly.

nice staff and good selection of tours. Accommodation was average and without hot water, but Liberia is warm enough that that was not a major problem. The staff were so helpful with all of our plan making.

Not too shabby for the price, but you have to be okay with a windowless room. It's very hot during the day, even with the fan they provide, but during the night it's not as suffocating. Great kitchen & good wifi & ENGLISH TV:) Loved that! What I didn't like was that I paid my deposit on HostelWorld but the hotel still made me pay the full amount even when I showed the woman working my bank account and HostelWorld receipt online showing that I had already paid a 10% deposit. I'd like that refund
