The steps were extremely crooked and unsafe looking. They should get them fixed! But other than that it was beautiful, the staff was sweet and helpful, it was very clean, and the location was perfect! No hesitations in recommending/returning!

We stayed here for 3 nights - The woman in charge of this place is a gem. She made sure everything was done for her guest's comfort - to the point of giving us her own umbrella to keep when ours was stolen! The place was kept very clean and affordable but there seems to be a hostel below and above and their noise carried - so if you're wanting some sleep - bring your earplugs!

No elevator. No common room or lobby. Some rooms small. No air conditioning or fan so have to have windows open and can have some significant street/courtyard noise. BUT, clean, neat in general, great bathrooms even if shared. If you are looking for simple, clean, basic accommodations in a central location, it is for you.

Very nice rooms - the floors and walls are not exactly straight which makes for an interesting stay (you have to see to understand). The staff were very helpful and polite and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The couple who own and run the place were very friendly and helpful, the rooms and shared bathrooms were all very clean for the duration of the stay. The location in the "old town" was fantastic, on the perimeter so it was a bit quieter, but still a quick walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, and the beach. Would definitely stay again

This hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of the old town and close to the beach. You can come and go as you please.Staff are friendly and very accomodating.

We didnīt stay at this exact hostel, because when we turned up he said he didnīt have room for us. So dragged us to his other hostel, didnīt speak any english. He also cleaned our rooms which was good but took my underwear without telling me to dry them, which was nice, but strange. No atomsphere.

We were most impressed with the location and cleanliness, particularly given the shared bathrooms. The only disappointment was other travellers making loud noise for an extended period at 4am, though I suppose you can't control Australian tourists!
