Lovely, friendly owners, good facilities and lovely atmosphere. We stayed in one of the well equippee and private cabins which had everything we needed. The only criticismwould be that the cabin was very hot in January when we stayed which made sleeping quite difficult. A simple electric fan would solve the issue (we did try and buy one during our stay but sadly to no avail).

This place was amazing. The family who runs it are extremely friendly and welcoming and create a very hospitable atmosphere. On NYE they even put on a barbecue for all their guests. The cabin was spacious and rustic with a really comfortable bed. Attracts a good mix of tourists. A great option in El Bolson. Highly recommend.

This was the best hostel I have stayed in so far in South America. It is run by the nicest family and has such a welcoming atmosphere. We arrive late and we made feel instantly welcome, . We stayed in one of the gorgeous cabins at the back of the hostel which was really an apartment with its own kitchen, and even had a loft. BBQ was fantastic, really good fun. Breakfast was simple but good. Very helpful also.

In all the hostels I have stayed in all over the world, never have I come across a hostel where you can feel so at home. From the moment you enter you feel like you are visiting good old friends instead of staying in a hostel, this because the owners really do all they can to make sure you are having a good time. Having said that it can be worth mentioning that the hostel is clean and extremely well located. We stayed in the awesome cabins. Don´t miss out on one of their barbecues!

Lovely owners which do everything for their guests. Vale and Claudio are people with a great heart! Location is close to the bus terminal, supermarket and the center of town. There are good hiking tracks to discover the amazing surroundings of El Bolsón. Rooms and showers are clean, there's a good chill out area with a computer and free internet. The PC is a little weird, but better than nothing. If in Bolsón again, I'd go to this hostel, because o the family character.

In all of my travels, including my own country, I have yet to experience the level of hospitality, support, or sincere generosity that we received at Hospedaje Pehuenia. My wife discovered this gem while researching El Bolson, and we had nothing short of a beautiful experience. Claudio & Valeria, the hostel owners live onsite, welcomed us as family, and truly made every effort to help us organize our days, find the best hikes, call taxis, find out whatever we needed for us to make the most of o

Stayed in a cabin which was comfortable. Owners friendly and helpful with local information. Enjoyed our stay and the asado prepared by the owners. They also invited everyone to learn how to make empanadas which was fun. My only complaint is that the cabin we had was close to the back street and was sometimes noisy from the owners dogs barking at people walking by. They also have two young children who could be a little noisy at times but were generally unobtrusive and quiet.

We spent a great time at the hostel! Claudio and his family are really kind and we felt at home as soon we entered the hostel. The room and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. There is a big backyard to sunbath, read and have asados. The owners help you with every question you have. two thumbs up for the Hospedaje Pehuenia!

A wonderful hostel. It's more like staying with a family, whose children will befriend you! The owners go out of their way to look after you - they picked me up off the street when I just arrived, guessing that I must be the guy who'd booked that day! It's lovely inside, all wooden fittings, comfy beds. The shack opposite does great pizza. I have only one small complaint: the price people pay if they just turn up off the street (55pesos) is MUCH less than the online price. I felt a it robbed.
