The Hostal was easy to find and is situated in a lovely Plaza with three very good cafés and a fruit shop. The facilities were kept spotless and any difficulties were quickly attended to with a smile and friendly greeting. The shower was very good regarding the pressure and hot water, however it was a bit small for someone my size (182cm & 82kgs). At no stage did I encounter anything negative from the staff, they were always really friendly.
It's a hotel rather than hostel (so I haven't marked down atmosphere), but this was a good little place. Staff were helpful and friendly, good location between rail station and major sights and near cafe's. Pillow a little hard if I'm being picky, but if you're after a basic, reasonably priced hotel for a night or 2 then look no further.
Great little hostel. A good location, 10-15 minutes walk from the bus station, and within the old city, which is where you'll want to be anyway. Easy (if a bit winding) walk to Mezquita and the Roman bridge. Helpful staff. The hostel didn't have the hang-out-with-other-backpackers feel like some hostels, which isn't necessarily a plus or a minus, just a thing.
The staff was really great. The rooms were a little old but very clean. The room had a nice television with stations that included multiple languages and the bathrooms were nice.
