As we had to book out early we were going to miss breakfast so the proprietor left us a breakfast and facilities to make coffee in our room. It was greatly appreciated. The facilities were basic but clean and everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Three words: great, great, great! And, about our host, she was the most wonderful.

Most things in El Chalten are a little more pricey than other places in the Patagonia area. The location was good, close to the start of the trails and rooms/bathrooms were very clean. Our host was very nice and welcoming.

Great stay! The owner was very nice and provided us coffee and breakfast each morning. We enjoyed our stay very much

Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice washroom and great shower. Sometimes it had a weird smell though. Short walk to bus station. Breakfast - toast, media lunas, tea, coffee and juice. Make sure you exchange pesos at blue dollar rate before paying owner. Her rate was poor compared to what you can get elsewhere. Very nice lady regardless.

Hospederia Thiamalu was a home away from home. Allie was super welcoming and accommodating - we had a lot of Spanglish conversations and she gave great advice on restaurants, helped us book a taxi, gave us a bag to pack extra bread from breakfast for our hikes, made us breakfast early so we could have it before we caught our taxi to the airport, and so much more. Great location (everything's pretty walkable in El Chalten), clean room with TV and our own bathroom (nice, hot water), free breakfast

All things in Chalten are a little pricy. The host was very nice, super flexible as we booked 3 days and only could stay 1 in the end.

Very pleasant hostel with independant bedrooms with bathrooms (access from the outside). Close to some restaurants and main street. Cleaned every day and very nice owners. Good breakfast too, and most important... Very beautiful view !

We loved this place great location close to the bus station. Great breakfast and atmosphere. Very cozy and warm after a long days hike. Highly recommended.
