I thought the place was like the city, a little dirty. The rooms just don't look too clean. the bathrooms are horrible. Good thing was the bed was comfi and they had tv. You have to pay to have a hot shower and to use the kitchen....ow and also pay for toiletpaper apperently...I didn't pay for it, so I don't know who pays and who doesn't have to, but it's just all very dodgy. the reception area was really dark, lots of mosquitos, but only place for wifi....

Had a private room, which wasn't great for meeting people but nice to have security of having my own room, although it was carnival so I was out for most of the time anyway. Only criticism would be they charge you for using the kitchen

Obviouslly there are many Mosquitos, but it is natural because it is located in Santa Cruz. It is cheap. That's an important factor for students. The owner answered our one more night stay kindly, even when it is Chrostmas(most of hotels are closed).

It was quiet and would be perfect for a really chilled solo traveler or a quiet couple. The owner is very helpful, all you need to do is ask. The area is close to the centre (walking distance). I was told that it wasn't safe but i never had a problem. I didn't go out at night. I really enjoyed my stay there. =)
