One word: FANTASTIC! right in the middle of the old town. Good rooms, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We loved everything about it and our host was a very funny and very helpful person. We planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4. Thanks for the hospitality mister Javier! PS: a kettle for boiling water for tea/coffee would be nice.

Havier was amazing and we decided to stay an extra night. Perfect location in the old town right near the main centre of the city and really cute room with a balcony! Would definitely recommend this quaint hostel.

Great price-quality. For a really cheap price we could stay in a private room in the center of Granada. The guy of the reception is really friendly and will make you feel at home. The ambient is completely silent, so it's a good option for who wants to relax.

Great person running the place.

The owner of the place is a great person with excellent taste in music. It was a pleasure to meet you and chat about music, brother of rock'n'roll! Granada is the most beautiful city in Spain we have visited so far, but even if it wasn't, the host of this place is enough reason to go there. We also loved the location of the hostal, which was just perfect. The bathrooms were clean and there is absolutely nothing we could possibly complain about.

Really nice stay here. The owner is so fantastic - very accommodating and genuine. Location perfect! Just a couple of little annoying things with the room - shower stand broken, sink blocked easily. Really great otherwise. We would stay again just on the owners friendliness :)

Great location in the heart of Granada. The staff is super friendly and will help you feel really welcome. There is no kitchen (at least not that I was shown) or common areas, so it may be better suited to people who are already traveling with other people. The room was large, AC worked well in the middle of August, and the bathroom was clean. Would stay again.

Lovely little man runs this hostel and is so welcoming and helpful! Brill location too, right in the heart of the city!

Room was amazing I felt like I was in a hotel!! There's a bathroom in the room as well as a television. The owner is really really friendly and fun and the hostel is right next to the cathedral. Although there's no kitchen there's a microwave and the owner let us put some things in his fridge overnight. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Staff was extremely helpful when we had to check in late at night past reception hours. Loved my stay in Granada and would return to Hostal Antares.

The owner was helpful and friendly. All nice places in Granada are pretty close to the hostel. My room was not big but nice. Would recomend it!

Enjoyed our stay very much, the owner was very helpful, funny and friendly. The hostel is situated on a beautiful street with lot's of market like stalls, Moroccan restaurants and tapas bars. There was a great, lively atmosphere surrounding the hostel. The wifi isn't so fast in the rooms, but there is a wifi area in the hostel which works perfectly. We arrived slightly early but were still allowed to check in and when we left, we were able to leave our luggage in the reception.

The only thing I didn't like at this hostel was theta the administrator told us we could keep our bags in the hostel after check out time until we needed it to. We were leaving at 9pm to Marbella and they wouldn't hold our bags until after 3pm.....we couldn't go around town pulling our bags so we wasted 5 hr of our day in Granada, seating down watching our bags.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location can't be beat--very easy to find on a street right off the Gran Via across from the cathedral (though it's best to look up the street beforehand as the directions given are not very clear). Close to the sights and great restaurants. Comfortable rooms and clean facilities.

excellent location right in the center, big rooms with high ceiling, wifi only in the hallway, a grown tall man may have difficulty sitting on the toilet as it is placed right under the sink... I was very happy with my room and it had nice big windows, but the bathroom needs some hand soap for guests (does not cost much) and with time a renovation of the toilet would not hurt... But very cheap and good value for such a centrally located hostel, even though the decor is old.
