The recepcionist was incredibly friendly and accomodating, allowing me to store my bags in the office before check in as well as after check out. The bathrooms have hand soap (a novelty in my hostel experience) and are well-kept, the WiFi works fairly well, the bedrooms have multiple outlets, and the location, between the Cathedral and the famous Calle Elvira, is absolutely perfect.

The old man who helped and welcomed us (who lived there) was very polite, nice, and helpful!!!

It was a nice hostel and very cheap. The staff was very very nice and very helpful. The hostel was in a great location. No kitchen but a microwave.

Best hostel I have come across in my 2 weeks trip. The city is wonderful, the hostel is very clean with good facilities. It also locates in great a location where you can enjoy the most of the city at night. The owner is extremely friendly and gave very detailed instruction when checking in. Highly recommended!!!

Unbeatable location! If you book the morning visit of the Alhambra, stop by Café Lisbon on your way (corner of Calle Elvira and Reyes Católicos) for a croissant + coffee and walk up the hill; you'll get there in less than 15 min. There is a wide variety of restaurants and teterías in the immediate vicinity, but they mainly attract tourists. The owner is unbelievably friendly and speaks French and English. Only downside: the setup makes it difficult to meet people thus the atmosphere is lacking.

Javier was supernice for us, location was perfect. I liked very much our room, it was cozy. There were some french guests who were too loud after midnight and it disturbed us a little. There was several bathrooms and warm water was always available. Definitely recommend this hostel for everyone. It's perfect for people who want privacy, there isn't common room to party with others, so it's more like hotel than typical hostel.
