Theloving husband & wife owners were very sweet. I recommend that this Hostal rise above and serve REAL COFFEE! Necafe is NOT REAL COFFEE. Also, rise above the rest and offer eggs and / or pancakes... something that will make you stand out from all the other hostals in Puerta Natales. That little added effort and expense will earn you great reviews and therefore great rewards.

near the bus station, about 10 blocks from 'downtown'. basic rooms but clean.

Arkya B&B is at Bulnes street 1494 (your confirmation email might list two directions, the other one at Prat street 367 is for Arkya Backpacker)! At the B&B there is NO room with double bed and shared bathroom, even if Hostelworld says so - you get a twin room! If you wanna have some impression of local family life, Arkya is a nice place to be, with friendly hosts. But she doesn't speak much English and can't help much with your travel planning, while he spends the whole day at the Backpackers.

our stay here was fabulous! the owner and her family make this a very personable hostel. we went trekking in the torres del paine and left our things here. without any warning, we showed up at 11PM and she greeted us and gave us a big hug! it is kind of a far walk from town but well worth it. she makes you breakfast every morning and cleans the entire house every day. highly recommended!

The hostal is very comfortable and the owners are extremely kind. They helped a lot to choose the best tour options.

The proprietors at Arkya, Juan and Blanca, offer a home-like atmosphere and the friendliest welcome one could hope for. Juan's travel agency business dovetails nicely with the Hostal. The place is modest but clean -- their own home converted into a Hostal. It is about a half mile from the main commercial district, but the walk felt good. Their English is limited.

Nice owners who can help to organize tours, but do not speak any English. Was no problem for us, as we speak basic Spanish. Beds are very comfortable, everything is very clean and nice breakfast.

The family that runs the hostel is extremely friendly and helpful. It is a little ways out of town, but only a 10 minute walk to get to the center. It`s also very quietmost of the time and you have the feelig that you are staying with some long lost relatives. The breakfast is good and plentiful.

This is one of 6 rooms in a house with a family. Not a typical hostal. Pros Very warm and friendly. Very clean. Safe. Helpful. Husband runs an exellent tour guide operation in town. This was very helpful and useful. Cons A bit away from center of town. No central 'hang out' area for talking with other guests. No kitchen facilities.

You feel like being part of the family. We were picked up at the ferry by the daughter and the grandfather of the house. Later met mother and father... all very friendly and cozy. We really enjoyed staying there and came back several times. Also the fact that Juan, the father :-), has a travel agency is very handy and he helps you with everything around your trips in the area! Great place to stay all in all!

Highly recommendable! Lovely place for your stay in Puerto Natales. Not the right place for those who want to party all night. It's more like visiting friends. Quiet, but still central. Juan and his lovely family live in the same house and rent some rooms at the upper floor. I had a wonderful single room with private bathroom (hotel standard, not like a normal hostel). Juan is also the owner of a travel agency and can help you with everything for your stay at Torres del Paine.
