We really enjoyed the roof terrace and the staff was always friendly. Unfortunately, the bed sheets had some stains and the bathroom was often occupied. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Hostal Arroyo.

We went there in January and found ourselves sleeping in our hats and scarves because it was freezing! There is no kitchen nor commun area so it's really more an hotel than an hostel. However there is a nice terasse with a nice view on the city. We had dinner there (it was warmer outside than in the room) and i'm sure it's amazing to hang out there in the summer.

We enjoyed our stay at Hostal Arroyo. The hostel seems to be run by a family and they were very friendly and nice. They kept our backpacks for a while after our checkout when we went strolling aroung Granada a little longer. The room was in the upper floor which was a bit annoying to go up but the view form the terrace at night was great. The decoration is very old fashioned but the bed was fine and the cleaning very good. The bathroom was basic too. It's a good place to stay for little money!

Awful experience. I have stayed in many hostels in many cities and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Was left horrified by the owner's behaviour- he was rude, aggressive, and we were eventually sent out after having to pay for our room. We feel we were victims of racial discrimination and we feel very passionately that people thinking of staying at this hostel should know about this.
