the hostel owner assaulted me, refused to refund my fee after he refused to permitt me to stay, got the police involved who fortunaltly saw the whole incident for what it was, a spanish hotillier who ripped me off and who could not accept that i did not like his sexual advances or inudendoes.

I would go back to this hostel. It is right next to the bus station (aka bus stop), not in the center, but as Nerja is small, it doesnt matter. And there is Marcedonia very close to the hostel. The owner is very nice and helpful. He helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs and gave me a map at the beginning and tips. What bothered me was that over the 4 days I stayed, no one ever came to clean my room, not even take the trash away. So the last morning something was crawling in the wc...

more like a hotel than a hostel. Really nice man who ran the place!! amazing price for a pretty good stay!!

Wonderful stay at this hostel. The only issue I had was the lack of sun into the room meaning any damn clothing didn't dry. Other than that good value for money and very friendly staff !

Overall, this was a nice hostal. For the price, we had everything we needed and the breakfast was ample. However, our room didn't have hot water and this was not changed. But for a weekend trip, it is livable.
