Excellent location as the hostel is only a 5 minute walk from the main nightlife area of the Mariscal. Saying that, the hostel is situated down a quiet side street so you will get a quiet night`s sleep. This is a cosy hostel with a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and there`s both a computer and kitchen for guest use. The beds are comfortable and there`s a small communal area by the reception. Unfortunately there`s only 1 shower in the building so be prepared to queue in the morning.

We were given the wrong room, then had to argue about getting a refund for the difference. We decided to leave as the staff were rude and unhelpful. We then wanted a refund for the unstayed nights and the owner said that the deposit paid to hostelworld was not passed onto the hotel so 1 night that was meant to be $30 ended up being $40 we have contacted hostelworld about this but they haven't done anything... Don't stay here, rude staff, noisy, unclean!!

a little noisy beetween pump and floor

I have known backpackers for over six years. Helped the previous owner to install the bunks. The hostel is much quieter, much more interest in the internet than the parties years ago. This is the first time i booked online. The bed i chose didn't exist, as there were no three bed dorms. We called from homein banos twice to confirm my bed being a lower, not top bunk. When i arrived i had to take top in a five bed room. Got a lower the next day. No problem. Big fight over price when i left.
