One of the nices hostels I have been to. Super nice staff and a cosy athmosphere. I didn't have enough warm clothes with me and they gave me an extra sweater so I was able to do the villarica tour. They also organized all our activities in Pucon and recommended nice places to visit. We also got a private room at the dorm room prize.

Well, we arrived and due to a mix up with the bookings we were taken to another hostel nearby, so the review of the 'character of the place' etc. is of Hotel Nora, the place that we were moved to. However the staff at Hostal Backpackers were incredibly helpful and pleasant and cheerful. So, Hostal Nora was great, clean and the location was excellent. Pucon was a nice little town to visit for a day or so.

Very Avarage place... Not Such a Good Atmposphere , but the price is ok. the bathroom and kitchen are preety old but ok.

Very good hostel, clean with nice staff that always willing to help. Many backpackers. Had reaaly good time. Reccomending

The place is nice and clean, the bathroom is a little bit wet. Since there are only two beds in the room, you are getting a private room for the price of two dorm beds. The place is very close to the center so you can walk to the restaurants and shops.

All I can say is that I booked this hostel and when I arrived they said it was overbooked, so they brought me to another hostel. Luckily, the other hostel was ok... otherwise I wouldn't have appreciated it.

I'm always weary of staying in a dorm but had no other choice when I was searching for accomodation in Pucon. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was great, the bed was very comfortable and all the facilities at this backpackers where clean at all times. Just a constant smell of moldiness hanging in the air and bits of rotten wood in the one bathroom - probably part of the package when you're staying in a timber building.

Had a wonderful time staying in this hostel: perfect wi-fi, staff was VERY helpful, and a cozy atmosphere. Complains are minor: there was a leak in one of the bathrooms and no soap in the kitchen. Definitely recommend this hostel. Also, the dorms are for 2 people, so if you are traveling in a group of 2 you get a private room for the price of a dorm!

This hostel was extremely cozy and charming! I loved the wood-burning stove to ward off the cool nights, and the cabin-esque furnishing that made this hostel feel really unique. The kitchen facilities weren't the best (no soap anywhere), but there was 24 hour coffee and tea. You could also purchase breakfast for a fee. Beds comfortable, warm, and rooms very clean. Bathroom sink was out of commission, and occasion flooding occurred...but overall, nice stay. Helpful in booking activities.
