Clean, safe an quiet hostel with an excellent breakfast. If you travel on your on, there might be hostels where you can easier meet other travelers.

Not a party hostel, but a very safe bet: good location, very clean and well-kept, an excellent breakfast for the price, good service and lots of advice on the dos and do nots. The staff makes the effort to call you by your name and when you see a returning traveller being saluted as an old friend you immediately start looking forward to come back soon. Strongly recommended!

If I choose a word to describe Campo Base Hostal will be: Hospitality Very friendly and smily staff makes you feel at home. Great rooms, very clean and warm. Very nice breakfast and sight seeing tips. I recommned it!

The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and approachable. The breakfast was the best I have had in Chile, with fruit salad, and tomatoes to go with the bread and cheese for a change.

Amazing accomodation. The rooms, bathroom and common area are exceptionally clean, the people owning the place are extremely helpful (I would miss a lot without their help), it's very calm at night time though it's only a few blocks to the very center. Thank you very much to Pancho, his father senior Fellipe and Mari. I wish all the places where I am to stay during my long trip in Chile were of the same high standard.

Here is an fine example of a hostel which puts the traveller at the centre of everything they do. Great local knowledge totally unbiased from Nico. Excellent freshly prepared breakfasts within the price. Free and fast WiFi and a hammock to rest after sightseeing.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. All tours they booked us were excellent. 100m close to the center. Enough to be quiet. Very clean. You'll feel like you're in a friend's house.
