Except on Sunday elevator is closed, it's quite convenient to go to the center from the hostel on other days in the week. the only problem was that you could hear almost everything from others rooms, and also the bed was very noisy.

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Caracol. The location is perfect to explore both ValPo and Vina Del Mar and it\'s easy to get to the bus stops and the Metro. The hostel is full of character and a has a great common room area and kitchen. The dorm was very clean and there are some single beds which made a nice change from bunk beds. It would be good if there was an extra bathroom as one bathroom between 7 people in the dorm isn\'t enough. We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Caracol. This is the first hostel I have ever stayed at and it was great! Pablo was very helpful and the private room was quite nice. The common areas were pleasant as well.
