I got the surprise of my lifetime when arriving at this hotel. It is so clean, spotless, and super nice decorated! Which I wasn't expecting because this is the old city and there are some rundown buildings around. Getsemani is a neighborhood with a lot of history with many modern and upscale places. My room didn't have air conditioning but I was still comfortable. No noises whatsoever coming from other rooms or staff. I highly recommend it.

We didn't actually stay at the hostel because the room was falsely advertised! On hostel world it says the rooms have air conditioning, essential as Cartagena is very hot. When we arrived the room was with a fan only and it was another 25,000 cop to get ac. Women working wasn't apologetic about it and wouldn't offer any kind of discount. We moved to somewhere much cheaper with ac, Arthur hostel!

It's all in all a good place to stay, really quiet and not social so if that's what u are looking for try somewhere els. Nice beds, good sleep, a bit hot with just the fan but our own decision so can't complain about that.

The hotel has a beautiful interior and great rooms for the price. It isn't a place to go if you're looking to socialize, but a perfect retreat in a wonderful city.

The hostel is really close to other hostels with a lot of cheap restaurants around. To the supermarket and the city it´s about a 10 min walk. The staff and the rooms are great. We had a private bathroom and television. Kitchen is missing, but you can take breakfast on the other side of the street at "Locombia" with everything you want for less money. I would not recommend the restaurant connected with the hotel. The service is so slow, it took about one hour for a sandwich.

Great location, clean rooms, fast wi-fi, nice common area. No English spoken.

We had a fan room ( 70 cop) but would pay the extra (+20cop) for a/c in hindsight. Cartagena is a hot & sticky city and the room smelt damp from the humidity! Getsemani is ok, more of a party district but we had no trouble & didnt find it noisy in our room. The shared areas are lovely & wifi was good. Good price private rooms but if you can stretch to 100 - 120 cop per night you'll find a sweet hotel room in the San Diego area that will beat most hostels on offer. We moved & didnt regret it.

Loved the colonial architecture-- walking into the courtyard was like walking into a sanctuary. The room was cute, the decor was tasteful but not overdone, the facilities were adequate (it might have been nice to have access to a kitchen, but it wasn't a huge deal), and overall it was a great find. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much! Another hammock or two might be a nice addition!!
