Overall, a great hostel that is highly recommended. Super clean, highly accessible, with a caring staff. It's certainly NOT a party hostel, but that suited my wife and I just fine. If you're looking for a place in DF, this is a top choice.Overall, a great hostel that is highly recommended. Super clean, highly accessible, with a caring staff. A good little hostel. Lovely staff. The perfect place to come to if you want to recover from to many nights sleeping on the bus and at airports.
I ended up staying much longer than I intended to and I will be back again. Thank you.A good little hostel. Lovely staff. The perfect place to come to if you want to recover from to many nights sleeping on the bus and at airports.

I reserved to stay here based on very good reviews on Hostelworld.com. Having come with relatively high expectations, sadly, I was disappointed after two days into my week-long reservation and had to move out. The problem? Bedbugs and mosquitoes. The former was as serious as it can get for having a problem with bedbugs--I was constantly itching and could not sleep for both nights. Unless they literally "clean up" their act, I would not recommend staying at this hostel.I reserved to stay here based on very good reviews on Hostelworld.com. I stayed there for five weeks and I can tell you it is an awesome place to stay. Staff are really really really friendly and will explain anything you need to you. It is also a very clean place. Breakfast could have a wider variety of food, but it is ok.
If you are gonna stay in DF, Hostal Casa Vieja is definetely one of the best places you can go ^^

It is a calm place to stay. A bit off centre, but a good start after a jetlag from the flight. It is a calm place to stay. A bit off centre, but a good start after a jetlag from the flight. ...Close

"Hostal Casa Vieja" is (like the name says) a little old hostal, but with much flair. The location is excellent: very central, many bars, restaurants and shops are around.
