Great place to stay if you're looking for a place near the airport. We were literally there for 9 hours prior to an early morning flight but the owner helped us order delivery (there is NOTHING in terms of restaurants around there) and arranged a ride for the next morning. Shower was great and the beds were comfortable. What more do you need?

Hostal Casa Del Angel was everything adverstised and more. The hostal is secure, clean within a beautiful garden setting. Wifi was flawless and the owner Janet goes out of her way to make sure her guests are comfortable and well taken care of. The Hostel is 5 minutes from the airport and its the perfect location to spend a couple of days in Guatemala City before spreading out to the more rural areas. Its also of course the perfect place to spend your last night in Guatemala .

This casa is a lovely place to stay for your first night in Guatemala City. Quiet & safe, close to the airport, although not really walking distance as I had anticipated. If you arrive at night, don't even think about walking. Immaculately clean, with hot showers & friendly, helpful staff. I would happily stay here again.

I had a very nice stay. I arrived late into the evening and I was able to order food and get a ride in the morning to the airport. The airport is very close and she gave me a ride. Such a nice women, hard worker and shes really knows what she is doing. The bathroom was amazing and she had very nice soap!!!

Great experience staying here. The room and facilities are new, extremely well kept, and provide for a relaxed stay. Janet was so helpful, organising a meal delivery, and also saw me off for my very early taxi departure to bus station in town. Thankyou janet.

I arrived in Guatemala City at 8pm and was gone by 7am and this place was perfect for those 11 hours inbetween! Janet picked me up from the airport and reserved a taxi for me the next morning. The place is super clean, very comfy bed, little sitting room is nice, wifi worked.

Remarkable hostel. Due to transportation issues and a last minute reservation, the owner didn't receive my booking but still made up a room for me late on Christmas Eve. She was extremely kind, friendly, accomodating and even drove me to the airport on Christmas Day. I would highly recommend to anyone.
