The Hostal ' Castilla II Puerta del Sol ' is located in an historical building totally renewed in the center of Madrid., beside 'Puerta del Sol square', (Down town in a little and very quite street.
From our establishment, you can visit walking:
Puerta del Sol (city centre ) (30 seconds)
Plaza Mayor (30 seconds)
Royal Palace ( 10 min)
Chatedral 'Almudena'
Museum Of Prado.
Museum Thyssen
The city's biggest attractions are also nearby so it is not necessary to use public transport.
Museums, bars, palaces, clubs, discos.....all is here.
Perfectly official notice, the hostel Castilla is to 50 mts of the next Sol, tube station (lines 1,2 and 3), and very near the train station of Atocha Renfe.
Check-in is approximately 13:00
If your room is not yet available when you check-in, you may leave your luggage at the reception desk.
Check-out is at 12:00 ( noon ) always.

I spent my 2 last days in Spain in this hostel with my boyfriend! The hostel was rather clean! The location is perfect! very close almost to the all famous places. However, it was impossible to sleep at night! a lot of noise from the street and neighbours! Also we reserved a doble bad, but they gave us a room with twin beds! if I 'm in Madrid another time, I 'll choose something else!
