It is very central just it name's indicates, staff is very friendly, it was a lot of fun out there, the only problem is there is a metro station just under the building, so if you are having some sleeping problems it might be a little distracting...

There were very noisy groups of travellers who didn´t care about the night´s rest. Even there are some hostel rules, for example not using the showers after 10.00 pm. and so on, they didn´t respect these rules. I think it´s the duty of the staff to look after these situations to avoid them or to take the proper consequences of these guests.

2/2 review of 15.11.2012: We booked+stayed 1st in double ensuite+they said they planned reparations in all that floor+gave us double shared bath.! we had to insist on getting ensuite (what we paid for!). Were given rooms that must be changed different times. VERY ANNOYING to pack all each time+move to other rooms! Said all guests must leave that floor BUT we found out it's NOT TRUE. If they planned to repair things on that floor, why make those rooms available for booking online?? UNPROFESSIONAL

Apart from the good location, I WOULD NOT recommend this hostel. I'm a German living in Ireland, & with a relative living in Morocco, decided to visit Barcelona (7nights). At 1st we were given nice double ensuite, then obliged to change many times!! The last nights were given small room without heating!! & water wasn't hot enough for showers!! Wifi was SO bad. Some guests were singing SO LOUD in next room & NO REACTION from staff! Incredibly noisy hostel, slept so bad.. felt impatient to leave!

Perfect for stay a night or two. The room was clean and they made my bed and cleaned the bathroom when I went to the city. This is a great option if you do not want to spend much money.

Heating was too high sometimes. And one night was very noisy (some noise from inner court). But otherwise my stay was very good!

Good location and helpful staff. The only problem is that the room is not well sound-proof, so we can hear noise from our neighbor room.

In the very city center you find this hostel , clean and very good. The free internet was a very nice bonus and if to say something to be improved , its only the room near reception which all sounds was heard clearly through the thin walls. An excellent hostel for night sleeps near to everything, especially the airport busses. The Staff was very friendly! I will for sure be back. Thank you

We had a great time. It's in a central location, very easy to get to the airport and back. Close to the tourist bus tours. Very lively around Christmas time! The staff were extremely helpful and all spoke English perfectly. You do get the bare essentials, but you don't need any more!

This was the worst hostel experience I have had. We choose the place based on its location and its free wifi. Well, the location worked out pretty well, but the wifi was terrible! We are traveling students and during our down time, were supposed to do research for upcoming papers. The wifi only connected in the common room, and had to be reset several times during the day, and was unavailable past 11pm. The place was very poorly lit and the staff was so RUDE! They also didn't clean up our room.

This is a very good spot to start traveling around Barcelona, quiet place compared to others, staff was really helpful and friendly. The reception desk is open 24/7. The room I stayed in was clean and cosy and the shared bathroom as well. For me it's a good place to stay and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to travel to Barcelona.

The hostel is very well located; the staff is very kind and helpfull; the rooms are nice, well equiped e extremely clean. From the hostel to "La Rambla" you won't took more than 5 min on foot; "Casa Batlló" and "La Pedrera" aren't to far too. I recomend it for anyone who wants to visit Barcelona.

It could not have been any more central. It was a lovely room with a beautiful view. We were three girls and couldn't have felt any more safe. It was a throughout great experience, very recommendable and we are hoping to soon stay there again. Thanks!
