Great hostel, very clean and friendly people. However some really old people stayed in the room next to us, and even while we went sleeping at 0:00 and not making any excess noise they banged on the wall....very irritating. If you want a quiet place, don't stay in a hostel!

The blankets on the bed felt and looked dirty (what about getting some IKEA cheap bedding?), bathrooms were appalling, run down with constantly wet floor covered with dirty wet towels. We have booked non smoking room and the room stank of cigarettes and had ashtray in it. We were very disappointed with this hostel considering the rating it has so far. Apart from location, it has no positive features. Next time, we will definitely stay little out of centre, to get better value.

I hope next time there would be better mirrors in rooms or in bathrooms where i can see me totally, not just face. :)

I stayed there 4 days with my 60 y.o. parents. We were impresed with room and cleanlines....but: - we were told to be more quiet at 11 am when we were having chat during breakfast in common area; we were told to be quiet at 11 p.m. while staying in the room...how laud could chat or laugh 60 y.o. people?; shower available from 7 to 22!!!there was no breakfast but it says on web page breakfast inc;.no kitchen facilities just 3 tables and coffee and tea; staff "cold" and borred (except italian girl

This hostel is located in a very busy road, the noise goes on all night long as the windows are massive and single glazed. Take ear plugs if you already booked the place. On the plus side, location is otherwise great, the staff is friendly and the rooms are safe and clean.

Great character at this hostel, good location and in a gorgeous building, with plenty to see, do, eat and drink nearby. Biggest letdown was the shower, it wasn't terrible but you could only get around 30secs of hot water... if you love a hot shower then try somewhere else.

Excellent location, clean hostel. In days when I was here many 40 + age people lived there.

Thanks so much! We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us book evening activities and find places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay.

It's really convenient to go everywhere, close to metro stn. And even on foot is very near to Two main street! Staff are friendly and all can speak english, also provided us as much info as they could! For cleaniness wise, they clean it everyday and it's exactly clean and tidy! Hope to stay there again!!! Strongly recommand!

Our room was by the reception and the staff made no effort to be quiet in the morning, and you could hear everything everyone was saying, and the building buzzer! Location was great, there was a computer with internet for our use, as well as free wifi. There are no lockers in the rooms for our valuables. Despite the promise of "free tea and coffee" there weren't enough cups to actually make coffee or tea... Staff did not all speak English. Still, if all you want is a bed, then they have beds!

Great value for money, and excellent location. 2 minute walk from las ramblas, and near to transport links like metro and airport bus. Very clean, room cleaned daily. Our room overlooked the main street so was a bit noisy but this is to be expected if you want a central location. Would recommend and stay again.

The location is very good - so close to Metro stop. The staff is a bit pushy - the older lady at the desk was very mean to her trainee, and treated us like we were annoying. Also, the night staff constant knocked on our door saying we were too loud - but we honestly werent - so we were annoyed by that. Regardless, very clean, very comfortable hostel. We were 4 guys - our room was spacious, beds comfy, facilities great. Not a party hostel, but we still met some nice people here. Quiet place.

The hostel owner/manager seemed obsessed with being paid. She insisted that we pay cash each day instead of at the end of our stay. Hostel World charged a 10% per night service charge without our knowledge. The hostel was cheaper per night but they refused to offer us the rate because we booked on hostel world. The room was right next to a busy street and we could not sleep all night. There was hair on the sheets. The hot water did not work the first night, the others had a hand held nozzle.

Really close to La Plaza Cataluyna, and about a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas. Rooms were comfortable with a sink and a mirror in the room, and bathrooms and showers close by. Everything was really clean and the staff were really nice and informative. Free coffee and tea all day, which was excellent! Wireless Internet and a little fridge in the lobby that sold juice, water, and even beer! Affordable, and close to all you need!
